The Midas Touch?

Morally bankrupt President = monetarily bankrupt Wallstreet?

As Bill Clinton was announcing the Federal Budget surplus, the Dow was falling lower and lower, to have it's 8th largest drop in history. It ended ever lower than it's 1997 level, with it's worst quarter in 8 years, and today it continues it's catastrophic fall with another 210 point drop! It was sadly amusing to watch the Dow ticker at the bottom of the television screen dropping dramatically, as Clinton was announcing his plan for using the surplus to save Social Security. You just can't believe a word this guy says, anymore!

Yesterday, Democratic Clinton android apologist politicians and talking heads were exclaiming the danger of a drastic drop in the stock market, if Clinton is impeached or resigns. They cited the drop in the stock market and jump in the unemployment level, after Nixon's resignation.

I believe that the Nixon-like stock market crash has already happened ( or is happening currently ) in regards to Clinton's impeachment or possible resignation situation. Our economic situation will not stabilize until the bum is thrown out of office.

Big business may not relish having Al Gore in there as President, because of his wacko environmentalist ideas. At least Al only hugs trees, and not Whitehouse interns. Only putting a stop to this lying, " wag the dog ", poll driven, spinmeister supreme administration, will bring an end to the economic turmoil on Wallstreet. The country cannot survive too much more of this rollercoaster ride!

Maybe, the Dow will go up temporarily, if Clinton spends some of the budget surplus on more cruise missiles to blow up innocent people in Sudan and some tents in the mountains of Afganistan? I hope Clinton finally does something about the situation in Kosovo ( see:He who hesitates, is lost. ( 9-23-98 ) ) , now that it may help serve his interest, to distract the public from his current problems.
