You know, I mean one could have easily predicted that Clinton would order up an extra side of cordite and shrapnel with his crow, for the people of Belgrade, after the White House was finally forced to release the House of Representitives report on Red Chinese espionage ( the Cox Report ). Besides being incredibly damning to his cronies, partisan political yes-men or yes-women ( his favorite ) and him personally ( I don't think he has any intergrity or respect left to lose ), the report revealed how he lied blatantly in an answer to a question at a March news conference. I can't believe I am in almost complete agreement with such unbelievable lefties as Tom Hayden, Michael Moore and Ted Turner?
I saw Hayden being interviewed and he blasted Clinton, NATO and the undeclared war in Kosovo as something or someplace he would not want to see his " son sent ". Hayden, along with other true liberals, sees the Clinton/Gore War as being against international law and NATO's targetting of civilians as possible crimes against humanity. They understand the role of the United Nations in dealing with world hostilities and the problems with allowing NATO to run rough-shod over a tiny defenseless sovereign country like Yugoslavia. Hayden definately believed we should be helping the refugees, but he pointed out that there were less than one hundred thousand refugees before the NATO bombing began, and now there are hundreds of thousands of them. No matter how you try to spin this, NATO has turned the refugee problem from just a problem into a catastrophe!
Oh man, I can't believe I am typing this. Michael Moore was on MSNBC's Internight cable television news opinion show, hosted by John Gibson, on May 24th. He was actually on there to discuss his twenty-four hour a day internet live camera feed of Lucianne Goldberg's apartment window ( complete with advertisements for a trashy tabloid newspaper ), but he offered up his opinion of the Clinton/Gore War. Moore said, " The indescriminant bombing of innocent civilians is not where I want my tax dollars to go " ( and he wasn't kidding either ). Bravo.
I didn't see much of Ted Turner's event, but I heard him say something like, " they are bombing my customers ". Well, Jane was always a socialist, and not a closet one either, after being photographed with a North Vietnamese pith helmet on sitting in a forty millimeter bofors gun anti-aircraft artillery emplacement. Turner didn't support the Clinton/Gore War, and I assume that Jane wouldn't either, no matter how much she wanted to support the Fabian socialist Bill Clinton!
Even Clinton's generals tried to stop him from starting his insane bombing campaign against the tiny sovereign nation of Yugoslavia. " I had adequate opportunity to make my views known and to raise all the issues I wanted to raise ", said General Dennis Reimer of meetings before the undeclared NATO sneak attack. He continued, " I had concerns about whether air power would do it by itself ".
Secretary of Offense, William " Conehead " Cohen, said, " The only option that was available to us at that point in time, to NATO, I think, was the airstrikes. At that point in time people felt the airstrikes might be sufficient to do the job, and they still may be. It's a matter of how much time is required ". He continued to dig his hole deeper and I almost threw up when I heard him say the conflict was " a struggle for the future shape of civilized society ". Oh my God, it's the world in the shape of the words parsing, lying and philandering moral relativist Bill Clinton! That is just unbelievable drivel out of a supposed Secretary of Defense, with his pasty Mister Sardonicus death mask make-up, he continues to rationalize the possibly war criminal-like actions of his precious Ethnic-cleanser-in-chief.
Okay man, the Russians are still calling for the NATO airstrikes to be halted. Now Special Envoy, Viktor Chernomyrdin said, " The result of the upcoming negotiations on Wednesday should be a stop to missile and bomb strikes on Yugoslavia ". There is not much chance of that, as Clinton is mad with bloodlust and power hungry to build a new image using the innocent civilian dead of Yugoslavia as building blocks.
This insanity must come to an end!
