I can't find anyone who believes the current Independent Counsel Statute will be renewed. I don't think it should be renewed in it's current form; that's for sure. From what I saw, I don't think Senator Fred Thompson believes it should be re-instituted in it's current form either. There are quite a few variations on the theme of this issue, but the statute is dead, so let's drop it. It will be allowed to lapse.

Of much, much more interest was the way the two vicious rabid Democrat, " get down on their kness and pray to the great living God-President ( Pharoah ) Bill Clinton ", DNC-forever at whatever the cost to truth, justice and the United States Constitution, Senators Dick Durbin and Robert Torricelli used their time in this hearing to attack Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr personally. Both these Senators threw blatant lies and inuendo around like they were on the Geraldo Rivera show ( and I don't mean on Fridays, either ). It was the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. It was even worse than watching George Step-on-all-of-us vomit " I don't recall " all over Al D'amato with that, " my old lady has a vibrator your ass would love ", shit-eating grin on his face, at the Senate Whitewater Hearings a few years back! This conduct was to be expected, after Bill Clinton was let off the hook, by the perverse, partisan minority exoneration conspiracy of morally bankrupt Democrats in the Senate. Now that these DNC-socialists have had their fun with the Senate Republicans and they smell that good old GOP blood in the water, there is going to be hell to pay by Kenneth Starr. He is going to be raked over the coals at every turn, by the immoral party of perjury, obstruction of justice, lying blatantly to the American public on live television and collective party greed beyond the wildest imagination ( including selling out the national security of your own country for the sick temporary satisfaction of illegal campaign contributions to fund your morally bankrupt policies and Swiss bank accounts )!

Torricelli even used five letters he wrote to Janet Waco on the excesses of Kenneth Starr ( though the illegal conduct he threw around was actually perpetrated by the Clinton Whitehouse itself ), and didn't get an answer to, to point by point illustrate what a far left wing fantasy world he wishes the viewing public to believe we live in. Durbin was just satisfied to go on and on about how evil and out of control Starr was in investigating their lying, philandering, campaigner-in-chief!

Second to their antics was the visible shaking fits of Janet Waco! This is our nation's Attorney General? Shouldn't she be in a retirement home some place? To her credit, she managed to meekly say, " I can't comment on that because of the ongoing investigation ", just as many times ( or more ) today, as she said to Orrin Hatch when he was trying to get her to appoint an independent counsel on the extremely obvious Democrat violations of the nation's existing campaign finance laws. You remember those don't you? The ones that involved Red Chinese money going to Bill Clinton and Al Gore; but for what? The one where Al baby was dialing for dollars ( yes, hard money folks ) from the Whitehouse because there was, " no controlling legal authority ". The great partying he did with Buddhist monks ( at a thousand dollars a head ) for campaign donations at a " vow of poverty " type temple in Southern California ( where else? )! You must remember these? They were the ones on which FBI Director Louis Freeh and Special Investigator Charles Labella both recommended to her that she appoint an indpendent counsel, because of her incredibly obvious conflict of interest. It is truely a disgrace to see such a corrupt Attorney General doing the bidding of the most corrupt President in our history. Just think about how other countries must be laughing at us, when they see videotape of her frail invalid-like appearence alone! For God's sake, this is supposed to the number one law enforcement officer of our country and she's so darned obviously bought and paid for!

Isn't C-Span just wonderful? We get to watch just how obedient these democRATs can be, right on TV. Oh yeah, we also get to see how cowardly an elephant really is, too ( and I bet you need to have a gasmask on to clean one of their cages )!
