Baldwin, Hanks, Spielberg and Streisand may be lobbying hard for Los Angeles to host the DNC presidential nominating convention in 2000. This is a perfect match. The most morally bankrupt political party in the history of our republic holds it's national convention in the morally bankrupt city of the left wing entertainment industry! The party of perjury and philandering will feel right at home in fantasyland!

News sources are reporting that Democratic officials said Thursday the DNC and the city of Los Angeles have come to terms. Though they still were in the final stages of negotiations, only minor details were left to be resolved.

The Clintons will be quite at home oozing their sticky extreme far left wing radical socialist Democrat speeches in an audience filled with the Hollywood elite and loyal party delegates! Just think about the wonderfulness of having California's two left wing female Senators make campaign speeches promising money to every special interest group they can possibly imagine, ignoring the reality of keeping any of these promises, because they are not up for re-election this next cycle.

The film and video cameras will be working overtime to produce phoney documentaries to be used in Democrat propaganda pieces designed to confuse the public into forgetting about how Al Gore used a Buddhist temple just outside Los Angeles for an illegal fundraiser. Voices will be raised high, to drown out those of the people who remember the California Democrat party machine trying to repay it's campaign cash monetary quid pro quo with the Red Chinese, by offering them a naval miltary base in Long Beach ( luckily the locals caught wind of this sellout to the forces of communism by the Democrat mayor of the city before it became final and blocked it )!

Maybe ex-Clinton Whitehouse/DNC employee/illegal campaign cash launderer John Huang will attend, as his current home town of Glendale is only a Chinese checker's throw away from downtown Los Angeles ( John undoubtedly still has a large bag of dirty Red Chinese military cash that needs to be cleaned )!

To add to the traffic congestion on the L.A. freeways, the convention is expected to bring 20,000 delegates, their families and media members to Los Angeles. This should keep the cabs, limos and helicopters busy!

Los Angeles is a bit infamous in Democrat convention circles. The last actual convention held in Los Angeles, was in 1960 when JFK was nominated and eventually elected president. Bobby Kennedy was assassinated at the Century Plaza Hotel, in Los Angeles four years later!

The only questions left to answer now, are which Bel Air or Beverly Hills mansions they should hold their after-hours parties at? It is sort of sad, the way the Democrat party has gone from being the party of the common man to the party of the ultra-rich Hollywood fatcat!
