Wag The Weather?

National weather broadcasts have taken on the " Whitehouse Wag The Dog " model.

I am sick and tired of hearing about how bad El Nino is going to make the weather and the fiction of global warming. Why is every weather front brewing, turning into a " possible storm of the century "?

The national media has picked up on how easy it was for the Whitehouse to recently " wag the dog ", to deflect the public from President Clinton's woes. They are now artificially stirring up interest in what is usually a boring topic, the weather!

First we had " El Nino ", and now they are pushing, " La Nina ". Sheesh, does anyone remember the " gulfstream "?

Global warming is another fiction ( I could do a whole opinion article on this subject ). The main two things to remember when someone tries to talk about global warming are these.

1) The Sun has a magnetic field that is constantly in flux.

2) The Sun has a ten year brightness cycle ( actually from eight to eleven years ).

Over the years, it has been proven by empirical measurement, that the Earth's mean temperature drop and fall, directly correlates with these two cycles. This is what the environmentalist tree huggers ( or bored weathermen ) don't want you to find out!

One can only speculate on the motives of the national weatherman community, of blowing up every storm to be a killer! I suggest that it is the chase of the almighty ratings. Hey, maybe the Democrats want to expand FEMA, to include payments for percieved possible future emergencies, before they happen?
