House Manager Asa Hutchinson will depose Vernon Jordan on video tape today on Capitol Hill. Clinton/Whitehouse defense lawyers may have some questions for this witness also. Democrat Senator Christopher Dodd and Republican Senator Fred Thompson, witnessed the deposition. I assume the Whitehouse had David " Darth Vader " Kendall plus one or two sidekicks, in attendance. The deposition lasted approximately three hours and Hutchinson is not violating the gag order, not to talk to the public about what went on behind closed doors.
Reportedly ( supposedly ), the Whitehouse counsels didn't ask Jordan any questions.
House Manager Steve Buyer of Indiana said not to confuse the impeachment proceedings with a trial, calling them, " administrative Constitutional hearings on impeachment ".
Some Democrat Senators are already characterizing Monica Lewinsky's deposition from yesterday as a waste of time. So much for their oaths of impartiality and/or upholding gag orders!
Republican Senator John Kyl wouldn't characterize the Lewinsky video tape, but said, " The House Managers have a right to put on their case ".
Democrat Senator Byron Dorgan would not characterize the Lewinsky deposition video tape, but refered to his comments of last week that further depositions were not needed or yield anything new. This is a sneaky way to comment.
If Monica Lewinsky's deposition yielded nothing new and three Whitehouse lawyers were present, then why did Comrade Commissar Greg Craig and Jabba The Ruff hurry down to see it for themselves today, huh?
