It is sad, but another Clinton administration fictional production has been uncovered.
Over the protestations of Senate Democrats, former UN inspector Scott Ritter testified September 3rd. He testified about being ordered to cease inspections in Iraq, by our own US state department. The state department articulated one thing, but did the opposite.
It seems as though, Madeline Albright and Sandy Berger have been publically saying that we are going forward with the United Nations weapons inspections in Iraq, but in reality they have cancelled them.
Albright makes the get tough on Saddam speech for the media, but caves in to Iraq, in reality. Remember the one about keeping him in his box, and threatening grave consequences, if he interferes with weapons inspections? While she was saying that, in a possibly choreographed speech, the Clinton administration was busy knuckling under to Iraq in private! This is really, wagging the dog. Did they think knowbody would notice? Has the Clinton corruption gone that deep?
Clinton got really tough, in his State of the Union address, on Saddam and Iraq. He pledged full implimentation of the UNSCOM weapons inspections, but secretly Sandy Berger is cancelling them. This is playing with fire. Not only is it a direct reversal on the United Nations cease fire aggreement, signed in 1991 at the end of the Gulf War; but it is coddling Iraq. This is no Monica Lewinsky type lie, but one that can threaten world peace!
Can't this administration tell the truth about anything? This subtrefuge in foreign policy can threaten the security of the entire free world. Has everything this administration does, become a Hollywood production? The state department just can't play fast and loose with the truth, and expect to have any credibility with the rest of the world! The President's personal integrity has been damaged beyond repair, and now, so has the state department's image.
Saddam knew the truth all along, and we ( the American public ) were being told a lie. This is a scarey thought. What old iron curtain country, used to lie to its people like that? Can you spell CCCP? I knew you could!
