*January 21, 1999 Day Six. Whitehouse Counsel David ' Darth Vader ' Kendall defends against the charge of OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE.*

Kendall began with references to the Whitewater investigation, forgetting to mention the guilty pleas and convictions already obtained by the Office of The Independant Counsel, though admittingly only Clinton's closest friends and advisors, not him personally. He repeatedly referred to the House Manager's case as " spin " or " they spun ". Darth baby, you are the one lying through your lawyery teeth for your morally bankrupt first philanderer, not the House Managers! He continued the aggravating hair splitting semantic defense of relativistic immoral lies and word parsing, ad infinitum!

He showed the Monica Lewinsky quote of " no one told me to lie " and said, " does anyone have a problem here "? Yeah man, I do. Just because Clinton didn't use the word " lie ", doesn't mean that he didn't conspire to corrupt the testimony of witnesses or obstruct justice! He showed her proffer to the OIC, and quoted the part where Monica is talking about a cover story of visiting Betty Currie or dropping off papers, saying " there was some truth to it ". Okay, so the lying Kendall would have us believe that because she may have brought some meaningless papers with her when she showed up to service Slick Willie's Unit, it makes her misleading story out to be the truth? Man, this is a great example of how immoral dishonest attornies like Darth Kendall have subverted our criminal justice system! This is just disgraceful and disgusting. I hope the majority of the people watching the C-Span or PBS coverage are smart enough to see through these unethical twisted statements made by the dark angel of deception and spinmeisters, David ' Darth Vader ' Kendall!

He continued the big lie about Clinton not paying attention to Robert Bennett in the Paula Jones deposition, when he affirmed and reaffirmed Monica Lewinsky's false affidavit. This needs no more explanation, as we have all seen how incredibly attentitive Bill Clinton is! How can these paid Whitehouse liars continue to put forth such obvious bald faced lies to the American people? They are being programmed by Bill and Hillary, that's how!.

He defended the " meaning of the word is, is " semantic word parsing by the first defendant at his Grand Jury appearence, as terrific lawyering? Come on Darth, I think you and your team of Whitehouse liars are the only ones left in the world who could swallow this complete and utter falsehood. Everyone else is tired of your continued support of this direct lie under oath!

So went the first half of Kendall's lying defense of the indefensible. Can't these Whitehouse lawyers be held ethically responsible for presenting what they themselves know as misleading and down right false testimony or information to the Senate?

Wow, after admitting that Clinton admitted he mislead the entire country on the nature of his relationship with Moinca Lewinsky, he described the President's lies to aides as only lies like Clinton told the rest of the nation. He said the Grand Jury would have known the testimony of Cabinet members and aides was heresay, thus not an element of obstrcution of justice. Okay man, this is the closest thing to a real defense on a prosecution point, that I have heard to date! I think Clinton's orchestrated lies to the Cabinet ( actually his first meeting with them all together ) were more for the media wag the dog show routine, about to start playing itself out, than to illegally obstruct justice. The hiding of the gifts, the cover story, soliciting Betty Currie to lie, etc. are possibly more positive evidence of the obstruction charge!

Kendall then disected the Lewinsky job search record, painting everything in as innocent a light as possible, " a good person, help her get on with her life ". He innocently remarked about person after person helping Monica, all using regular channels though in an accelerated time frame. The question he never answered was, why were there only a handful of people ( three? ), who were EVER helped this way by Vernon Jordan? He attacked Linda Tripp personally with a satirical remark of, " Linda Tripp, that paragon of faithful friendship ". This type of apparently written in choreographed ad hominem attack would have divested Kendall of any respect or credibility I had for him, but he never had any credibility with me to lose, anyhow!

Kendall makes a big deal about talk of Monica Lewinsky being on the witness list and the drafting of the false affidavit on December 5, 1997. He used Carter's billing record for the 6th, to say that Lewinsky didn't have the affidavit yet. This is really a stretch, the billing could have been done the next day, or Lewinsky could have had a first draft. In fact, the testimony of Carter also indicated that the affidavit was still being changed until the 7th! Keep all this verbage about the 5th in mind when the President's defense tries to make a big deal about December 11th. Work on the false affidavit was clearly begun the day Clinton found out Lewinsky was on the witness list, December 5, 1997. Kendal said, " there is just no evidence of any kind...we have rebutted the facts ". You can repeat the same lie over and over again, but it is still false. Kendall inadvertantly betrayed he own arguement that Clinton's conduct was private, when he referred to it as " self inflicted wounds, that were very public ". Hey man, you just said PUBLIC! It can't be both private and public?

Democrat ex-Senator from Arkansas, Dale Bumpers, was eager to show his excellent level of DNC loyalty training, so he did the Clinton defense closing statements/obedience trials. He started with a joke. He joked man, but this is important stuff, " I am not being paid, and when I am done, you can tell the Whitehouse they got their money's worth ". Oh God, he just kept going on and on about his life with Bill Clinton. I am so embarrassed for the Democrats, I hope the ones in the Senate can prove to me that they aren't all the scum of the Earth!

The extreme left wing liberal Democrat partisan nature of Dale Bumpers makes me feel ill. That guy is a real piece of DNC work! I just won't dignify it with any further mention.
