*February 6, 1999 Day Fourteen ( 15? ). Closing arguements begin for the House Managers and Whitehouse Counsels.*

With partisan Democrat Senators declaratively poised to cast a vote for the exoneration of their precious criminal President in flagante delicto, the House Managers valiantly present their closing arguements to a Senate full of Bill Clinton's puppet infidels and an international media audience. The only thing at stake is how obvious can these courageous House Managers make it to the nation and the world, that the DNC/Whitehouse obedience trained Senate Democrats have betrayed their oaths of office in the Senate, oaths of impeachment trial impartiality, and their duty to the Constitution of the United States of America, in tossing truth, justice and their responsibilities aside, in favor of a biased and evil politically motivated verdict, corrupting our system of government and justice forever! To understand the gravity of this situation, remember that at the time the framers designed the impeachment process, Senators were appointed by their individual State Legislatures and not elected by the people ( public ). The Senators were assumed to be far removed from public opinion and didn't stand for election, obviously. Thusly, they would feel no political popularity related pressures in making decisions and not be beholding to a political party for campaign related ' assistance ' ( or that party's campaigner-in-chief )!

House Manager James Rogan began this day of closing arguements be playing excerpts from Monica Lewinsky's deposition and Clinton's non-sworn finger wagging media statement were he calles her " that women ". You could really see how young Monica is now, but imagine what she looked like three years ago. He played Sidney Blumenthall on tape saying, " She came on to him and made demands for sex, he rebuffed her ". Rogan finished with calling Clinton's cover-up of his affair and the subsequent perjury and obstruction of justice associated with it as " a broad tapestry of corruption ".

House Manager Asa Hutchinson made good points on Clinton's intent. For example, not asking Lewinsky directly to lie, doesn't mean his intent wasn't to deceive. He played Clinton denying knowledge of Lewinsky talking to Vernon Jordan with, " that's all I know about that "? And he played Jordan saying, " I was running the job search, not Miss Lewinsky ".

James Rogan came back for a quick close playing Sidney Blumenthal saying " The President helped troubled people in the past ". This was referenced to both Bill and Hillary Clinton talking about how wonderful and helpful the President was in counseling troubled young folks. Oh man, this actually was a low ' blow ' at Clinton's " I feel your pain " campaign thing!

Nicole Seligman, billed by C-Span as ' President Clinton's Attorney ' began the Whitehouse defense and started again with the " look ma, no hands " type defense she tried before. To believe Seligman's ' twist-o-flex ' of reality, one would have to swallow: 1) Clinton suggested to Monica Lewinsky, she could file an affidavit to avoid direct testimony but didn't get involved in making sure it's content was to his benefit. and 2) Clinton had gifts retrieved from Monica Lewinsky, that were possibly harmful to him, by his own personal secretary, but didn't order it or know anything about it? She attacked the House Managers verbally but unsuccessfully, saying " they have distorted, they have omitted... ". She put her foot firmly in her mouth with this little gem on Monica Lewinsky's deposition testimony, " Her testimony exonerated the President ". So very obviously playing to the media audience and not the supposedly impartial Senators, she repeated the Whitehouse's ( Hillary's? ) two favorite sound bites, " it's wanting to win too much " and " those stubborn facts ". Her problem is the last one; she hasn't rebutted " those stubborn facts " that point directly to Bill Clinton's guilty without even the hint of any shadow of a doubt!

David " Darth Vader " Kendall tried to debunk Vernon Jordan's deposition testimony and began his presentation by playing a softball series of questions on the personal relationship between Jordan and Clinton. I don't get it, but Kendall played a civil rights oriented litany by Jordan on his first job as a black lawyer just out of law school, solicited by the Clinton lawyer himself at Vernon Jordan's Senate deposition. He also played Jordan invoking the United Negro College Fund. Man this stuff was really obfuscation and sticky smelly gorilla theater. The immoral shameless Clinton/DNC/Whitehouse lawyers aren't just blatantly and overtly playing the race card with these stunts, they are rubbing our noses in it ( among other things )! He played Jordan talking about helping Maggie Williams? Do you remember her? She was allegedly seen by Whitehouse uniformed security carrying Vince Foster's Clinton Whitewater files into Hillary's office the day he died. Kendall read " I'm a lawyer not a fool ". I think he takes us all for fools. We are not Clinton cronies or mindless DNC robots masquerading as legislators!

House Manager Ed Bryant began the short rebuttal period by the House Managers. He urged the Senators to do the right thing for setting precedent for future impeachments and how perjury and obstruction of justice will be treated. He again pointed out the need for live witnesses to clear up any doubts, but obviously that is not going to happen.

House Manager Lindsey Graham finished off the presentation with some good old facts plus emotion. He urged the Senators to " vote their consciences ". He may have x-ray vision, but I only saw about fifty six Senators who may have what Lindsey is counting on. On Clinton he said, " What happened here, is you got a man trying to conceal his crimes ". He actually got a laugh when he said, " When someone calls you at two o'clock in the morning, they are up to no good ". He opined that Clinton's conduct reached the level of impeachability when his concealing of evidence changed to redefining his relationship with Monica Lewinsky as the aggressor and he himself as the victim and the cover-up the ensued.

The fiercly partisan DNC attack dog Barbara Boxer tried to disrupt the Senate proceedings by shouting out a request over Majority Leader Trent Lott adjourning until Monday.

The Senate adjourned until 10AM Monday morning.
