Washington D.C. March 1, 2000, after being immunized by Bill Clinton's corrupt Janet Reno Justice Department, Democrat National Committee illegal foreign fundraiser deluxe, Charlie Trei, finally made an appearance in front of Chairman/Representitive Dan Burton's House Government Reform Committee on campaign finance abuses. Normally, when a criminal pleads guilty and receives immunity from further procecution in exchange for valuable testimony, he verbalizes something truthful and important to the authorities. In the case of Charlie Trie, that was not going to happen!
Charlie Trei, Democrat party fundraiser extraordinaire, may be originally from Taiwan, but he is a dirty Chinese commie rat. He was arrogant and lied like a reptile in front of members of Congress. This despicable lowlife SOB, uh FOB ( friend of Bill ), has been a co-conspirator in the dishonorable Bill Clinton's rise to dictatorial power since the 1970s, during the old selling the local parking meter contracts for pocket money times in Little Rock, Arkansas. He has been given immunity as opposed to a Presidential pardon after the fact, so he knows he is now untouchable because if convicted of perjury in regards to his testimony, a presidential pardon would obviously be forthcoming from the Campaigner-in-chief. This naturalized United States citizen feigned a misunderstanding of common English and made a mockery of the hearing. After claiming to be a patriotic American and suggesting any association between him the Red China was ludicrous, the Committee later uncovered that he was instrumental in helping the PRC ( People's Republic of China ) to obtain equipment for creating biological weapons!
The corrupt Clinton Justice Department was going to give this lowlife scum a complete pass for his illegal dealings with the DNC until a judge in the case realized it and leveed a token fine in the amount of tens of thousands of dollars. This is still way out of line, as he should have served some jail time or had a much larger fine for laundering over one hundred thousand dollars in admittedly illegal campaign contributions to Bill Clinton. What makes this particularly hard to swallow is that a Republican who raised only ten thousand dollars in funds judged to be illegal, got a fine in the millions of dollars. In the light of the corrupt Clinton Justice Department it makes complete sense; a Democrat launders a hundred thousand dollars and gets a ten thousand dollar fine and a Republican who raises ten thousand dollars in illegal funds gets a million dollar fine. Dan Burton mentioned this specifically toward the beginning of the hearing.
The first hint that this creep was only going to cough up old stale furballs on his own, was when he ( his Democrat commie lawyer? ) offered that his ( Trie's ) English was not too good. Huh? I thought this cronie was suppoed to be a naturalized US citizen? Don't you have to be able to understand, speak, read and write English to pass that test? I guess not. Or is it that when you want to understand you do, but when you don't want to answer a tough question, you just fake not being able to understand?
The biggest hint that there would be no polygraph test for this puppy was when he waived making a verbal opening statement and turned to his bank of democRAT party sympathizer lawyers for every single answer, including his most numerous answer of, " I don't recall ". The only reason to talk to your slimy lawyers before you answer the simplest of questions, is so you can KEEP YOUR STINKING LIES STRAIGHT! He even said, " I don't recall ", regarding an important question asked just the day before?
This crud was not a convincing liar either. In response to a question from Dan Burton ( R ) regarding a big chunk of change given to him by an agent(s) of the PLA ( People's Liberation Army ), he had the gall to answer that, he gave me two hundred thousand dollars because " he liked me ". Burton couldn't belive his audacity in that answer. The only other thing more exasperating was the almost constant drone of, " I can't recall ". He did it more than Step-on-all-of-us did at the first set of Senate Whitewater hearings; no fooling!
The Committee minority party chairman, the pathetic puppet Representitive Henry Waxman ( D ) was not to disappoint those who were ready to hear his partisan democRAT defense attorney act, and far enough away not to have to smell his breath and/or get hit be spittle. The low level sound buzz which accompanied Dan Burton was turned down by the lefties from C-Span just in time for the viewers to hear every whiney bit of Waxman's pontification. He rifled out a few background questions, which though they may have been time wasters by design, do help to understand who the Democrats want you to think Charlie Trie is.
" English is not your first language? ", was first up, with, " How long have you been in the United States? ", to follow. With a suitable pause to develope whatever sympathy may have been building ( yeah right ), Trie answered meekly, " Twenty-five years ", as Waxman started the next question, " When did you gain US citizenship? ". " 1984 ", offered Trei, in a stronger voice which seemed to convey a command of the language just fine to me, though with a heavy asian accent. You felt the deja'vu as Waxman asked the standard defense attorney at sentencing whine, " Are you sorry for what you did "? Obviously Trei lied, " Yes "; as he, like Bill Clinton, is only sorry he got caught!
Trei claimed that he and John Huang ( another Clinton and DNC illegal foreign campaign contribution money launderer who plead guilty and only got a small slap on the wrist as a penalty ) were born in Taiwan and hated Red China. I would have asked him why he was associating so closely with Red Chinese military people, if he was such a Taiwanese patriot? He volunteered, " I know President Clinton since the late seventies in Arkansas ". This does betray the asian way he speaks English, but does illustrate the long standing relationship he has had with his now, meal ticket! In fact, Trie did run a Chinese restaurant in Little Rock and held many events for Clinton there.
This was the best Waxman line, delivered with the straightest of straight faces, by the face of evil, to the lying pseudo-scapegoat du jour, " The President, the Vice President, the First Lady and the DNC didn't know where your campaign contributions were coming from? " Obviously lacking the old F. Lee Bailey lie detector attachment, Trie managed a laughable yet almost believable sounding, " Yes ".
I used to think Democrats were just integrity challenged as a group, but now I realize that only the Blue Dog Democrats have even a trace of decency, integrity or truthfulness left!
