Yesterday evening, December 12, 2000 the Supreme Court of the United States of America put a stop to the election theft lunacy going on in Florida. Finally, the grown-ups ( The Supremes ) had to take the toys ( blank unpunched ballot cards ) away from the kids ( The diehard partisan Democrats willing to do anything to get their Boy Gore elected ) and send them packing ( with their tails between their legs ) back to Washington. This effectively gives the presidency of the United States to the election night winner, Governor George W. Bush!
Earlier in the day, the Florida State Legislature passed a bill naming the previously certified Bush electors as the official ones representing Florida at the upcoming December 18th Electoral College meeting. The vote was 79 to 41, with two Democrats breaking ranks with their partisan impeachment minority like buddies to join the altruistic Republicans. They had to pass the measure before midnight, to keep the safe harbor element of electoral college delegations available only up until today, December 12th. The ' safe harbor ' means that the electors cannot be challenged by the United States Congress.
Also, earlier in the day, the Florida Supreme Court may have lost some of it's ' DNC uber alles ', ' the end justifies whatever means imaginable ', morally relativistic rationalizationary(sic) mannerisms and gained or found it's seemingly lost integrity, as they declined the appeals of the Gore Campaign on the Martin and Seminole County absentee ballot ( frivilous? ) lawsuits. Proving they didn't want the Florida Supreme Court building to turn into the 21st Century version of Doctor Frankenstein's castle, the Kangaroos decided not to hear the appeals in this absentee ballot fiasco of applications and not ballots!
Suddenly, interrupting the constant droning of the partisan political talking heads hawking one side or the other, the word came down from the United States Supreme Court that a decision had been rendered on the so-called recounting ( harvesting? ) of votes in Florida.
The Supremes ruled the crazy recounts in Florida were not in concert with federal equality articles of the United States Constitution by a margin of 7 to 2, while the decision to stop all hand counts in Florida passed by the same 5 to 4 margin as the original stay of the then statewide recounting. Justice Rehnquist called it, " Counting of improperly marked ballots ".
Cool, that's right; good old Judge N. Sander Sauls has been vindicated as the appeal of his verdict has been reversed!
Stuart Taylor had the line of the day/night, describing the decision, " Read our lips; no more recounts "!
Jesse Jackson, being the racist demigod race baiter he is, will not stop trying to stir up trouble and he is still trying to get some publicity for himself, whether negative or otherwise. In between allegations of a wide variety of imaginary racial discriminating activities Jackson preached, " Only the voters give legitimacy to their leaders and the overwhelming evidence is that hasn't been done ", here in Florida?
All the numbers I have seen, indicate that blacks voted at almost double their percentage of the actual Florida population make-up? I believe even the hard core Democrats will have to put a leash on this black Hitler before the period of national healing can begin!
While I am deeply angered that the demonic Democrat forces tried to steal the election in Florida, I am hoping that the more decent Democrats decry the continuing actions of the DIRTYcRATS in pushing divison over reconcilliation. If Gore truely concedes tonight and doesn't cry foul or sour grapes, I will never be able to forgive him for putting the country through over a month of turmoil, but I will be able to sweep the whole thing under the rug. The Democrats just better never turn that rug over!
