There is a sucker born every minute?

*On NBC's Today ( Weekend ), Chris Matthews and Geraldo Rivera were on a taped segment about the Senate Impeachment trial. It should have been called " Left and lefter ". Obviously Groomaldo swallowed all of Nicole Seligman's lies from yesterday, hook line and sinker, like a good little Democrat stooge. All she did was say the House Managers misled you with cut up video tape snippets but we will be playing you whole clips. Funny, she then started playing an editted together tape with parts from here and there cut together to resemble something with continuity ( but falling very short and approaching down right deceit to anyone who had read the transcripts of the depositions beforehand )? These eternally damned Democrats think if they repeat the same lies over and over again, that someone with low enough intelligence will begin to think their lies are actually the truth? This does bear a distinct resemblence to what they used to say in Little Rock, " Are you going to believe me, or your own lying eyes? ".

*' Bleaching The Mess ', Tim Russert had two House Managers and a six pack of Senators on his show. But first, he had journalist Christopher Hitchens on, debunking the ascertion by Sidney Blumenthal under oath in his recent Senate deposition that he himself wasn't spreading negative untrue stories about Monica Lewinsky to the media. This looks quite a bit like perjury to me, at the moment. Sidney, Sidney, Sidney, do not pass GO; go directly to jail. Russert wasn't able to clear much of anything up, but only managed to illustrate the thoroughly morally bankrupt nature of the Democrats, in their blind lock-step defense of their precious first philanderer. House Manager Ed Bryant said, " This case is not about cheating on your wife, it is about cheating the law ". Asa Hutchinson pointed out that the House Managers have a good case and Clinton's lawyers didn't refute all the facts in evidence ( citing Clinton's coaching of Betty Currie as an example of something not addressed by Kendall's clan of licensed liars ).

The Senatorial six pack only showed the viewing audience the cowardly, immoral nature of the Senate Democrats in trying to rationalize ignoring their oaths, in declaring how they will all vote to exonerate their disgusting defendant-in-chief! The three mantras the Democrats repeated were 1) It's a Republican trial, 2) Clinton's offenses don't rise to the level of impeachment and 3) We must censure the President. Joseph Lieberman ( D ) has stopped the act and shown his true partisan meelie-mouthed Democrat apologist nature. Dianne Feinstein ( D ) repeated the Whitehouse/DNC mantras offering up, " A censure that is strong and tough ". Who is she trying to kid? A censure by it's very nature is weak and toothless! Jay Rockefeller ( D ) only repeated the Democrat mantras, using the same words all the other Democrats used unchanged and obviously read off a Whitehouse talking points fax! Phil Gramm ( R ) told the Democrats just how it is, right to their blushing faces with, " Impeachment is about the Constitution, censure is about getting political coverage ". This is so true, and not deniable by any Democrat! Pete Domenici ( R ) sort of echoed Gramm's sentiment with, " the censure itself is not a strong measure and it is revokable ". Olympia Snowe ( R ) wants a separate finding of facts in the impeachment. I assume, to stop any celebration of exoneration by this shameless and degrading Whitehouse. On censure she said it was " the most lenient and least meaningful option ".

*On ' Facing The Humiliation ', Gloria Borger asked this question concerning a vote on censure after Clinton's acquittal, upon hearing the Whitehouse/DNC mantras repeated several times, " This is just a way to get the Democrats off the hook? " Five Senators formed the panel, with Patrick Leahy ( D ) adopting his usual extreme left wing liberal Democrat partisan smug and smirking ' DNC uber alles ' attitude. John Breaux ( D ), another piece of partisan Democrat exoneration conspiracy work, called Sidney Blumenthal spreading false rumors for Bill Clinton and the Whitehouse, " bragging "? Great, the Democrats continue to prove that they truely are the scum of the earth! Mitch McConnell ( R ) thought, " censure is not a great idea ". Susan Collins ( R ) said, " I don't want a vote to acquit the President to be interpretted as exoneration ". Robert Bennett ( R ) favors some type condemnation that the Democrats will sign off on, saying " A vast majority want to make a statement ", " The President should not walk away with exoneration " and " The smearing of the people who are telling the truth is what bothers me ".

*On ' The Weak ' Cokie Roberts interviewed Senator Robert Byrd ( D ). Byrd may be a partisan Democrat when the time comes to cast his vote this week, but he doesn't try to hide it. I condemn him for his partisan Democrat obedience to Clinton, but he told it like it is with, " We owe it to history that the final deliberations be open ". On why censure will be debated, " They don't want the President to get off scott free ". Listing every private and public entity you could think of including the Judiciary, he said, " He has hurt everybody ". On one of the Whitehouse talking points fax subjects, " Does this rise to the level of high crimes and misdeanors? I think yes ". No doubt about that one! He rhetorically asked, " To remove, or not to remove; that is the question "? He then said that public opinion and a good economy were the only reasons not to remove Clinton? To me, that is a complete violation of the oath of impartiality Byrd swore to act as a judger of fact in this Senate Impeachment Court. He wouldn't betray his vote now, but it is pretty easy to imagine him voting to acquit when he later said, " He will not escape the judgement of history ". This is an obvious ellusion to him escaping the judgement of the Senate ( while the House impeachment remains a historical fact forever ). One the way the Clinton lawyers play fast and loose spinning their defense, " Who's kidding whom, here? " Basically what it all seemed to boil down to for Byrd, was Clinton committed high crimes and misdemeanors but because he is popular, he should not be removed. I think that as a disingenuous way of looking at things in light of the oath he took, but he is not twisting the facts and lying about it to our faces!

Two Senators joined in a discussion. Richard Shelby ( R but former D ) and, especially, Christopher Dodd ( D ) could not follow that Byrd act. Dodd could only offer up more regurgitation of the Whitehouse/DNC talking points fax and Shelby seemed to question the facts, with emphasis on count one - perjury, " I have raised the question that these counts are porous in nature ". Hmmm, I smell a big fat commie rat!

Sadly, the DemocRATs has lost all sense of morality or decency, left with only misguided loyalty to a disgusting perverted socialist despot who just happens to be of their precious party!
