Is It Safe In Jerusalem?

Will the Wye surrender terms be " Barak " on track?

Now that Ehud Barak has defeated Benjamin Netanyahu in the election for Israel's Prime Minister, Yasser Arafat is putting the polishing touches on his Palestinian State dedication speech. I mean come on man, they got their own police, and their own " Terrorist International Airport ", so why not just give them Jerusalem for their capital city?

Well, before the Palestinians start getting too excited, keep in mind that Barak was a general in the Israeli army, so he knows his way around the battlefield and probably understands well just how much Israeli blood was shed for the lands around Jerusalem since 1967. The actual position taken by Barak will be forthcoming, but it is being reported that this is one of Barak's stated positions, " Barak insists Jerusalem remain the undivided capital of Israel ". Slightly comforting, but not definitive, really. A little more heartening was that Barak " vows there will be no return to Israel's borders before the 1967 Mideast War ".

Clinton smelled Netanyahu's blood in the water, not to mention a heads-up call from both James Carville and Bob Strum from Israel, and got almost orgasmic on rehabilitating his tarnished image since his impeachment. Clinton was beaming at getting his administration's failed Middle East peace process back in the fast lane before his lame duck term runs out. He said, " I will continue to work energetically for a just, lasting and comprehensive peace that strengthens Israel's security ". Oh please, you are only interested in one thing, your place in the history books. He continued to pontificate, " I look forward to working closely with Ehud Barak and his new government as they strive to reach that goal with their Palestinian and Arab partners ". Oh yeah, sure man, like we believe anything you say anymore?

While trying to get the Serbian bloodstains out of her dress, Madeleine Albright sought to satisfy her precious President, and elevate her already puffed-up image of herself. Clinton allowed her to continue his message of Middle East peace, to be the one to call for expediency; so she used catchy phrases like, " an accelerated basis ",and " an invigorated track ", along with the standard statement of, " We want to see a comprehensive peace process go forward ".

Oh man, don't give the contractor a deposit for those renovations on your summer house in Jerusalem, unless you are planning to lease it to Hamas or Islamic Jihad?

Hezbollah must be digging it also, as this is being reported as a Barak position on the Israeli troops in Lebanon, " Barak has pledged to pull Israeli troops out within one year ". Is this really that much different than Netanyahu? Hey, let's see what he does after the next patrol gets ambushed or car gets bombed.

Let's just hope he doesn't give away the Golan Heights to Syria. He couldn't do that, could he?

We can just hope beyond all hope that the presence of James Carville and Bob Strum within the Ehud Barak campaign doesn't indicate the furtherment of the Clinton, one world government, crowd's socialistic agenda. The powers of socialistic compromise must not be allowed to rid the world of free will.
