After a fun filled sunrise ceremony today, featuring Mister Bunny and starring the Raptor? being chased by the Hornet, I was stuck in a vehicle for a few hours. This gave me a chance to listen to Russ Limbaugh for the first time this year, uninterrupted. His opinion and that of a few of the callers, helped me to solidify my own view of the upcoming impeachment trial charade in the United States Senate.

I have made it very clear in the past, that I want to see for myself how each and every Senator votes on the articles of impeachment of Bill Clinton, and why. I want the Democrat and Republican Senators alike, to justify to the American people why they voted the way they did, so there is no doubt what so ever!

I now realize the importance of creating a solid record for the future. Republican Senator Orrin Hatch has put forth an idea to adjourn the Senate without coming to a verdict. At first I thought this really was the weenie way out, but now I understand why he came up with the idea. If Clinton is judged guilty of both articles but not removed from office, future presidents will not be impeachable for perjury or obstruction of justice. Is this really the message we want to send future generations? I have probably seen and heard more of the evidence than most of the Senators have and I believe Clinton is blatantly guilty of both charges, with obstruction of justice an incredible slam-dunk in a court of law! If Democrats want to try to score political points off the moral high ground holding Republicans, and/or simply save their precious first philanderer and campaigner-in-chief; they must be made to fully explain themselves. We must make it as simple as possible for future Congresses to understand what actually happened! Many Senate Democrats have fearfully expressed concern about being exposed by this finding of fact, as the partisan party hacks of the century. Hey man, if you guys are going to heel like the Clinton Democrat dogs you are; you have to lay down and roll over for the history books, too!

If Democrat Senators cast their votes to keep Clinton in office based solely on their party affiliation, they must be held accountable! There must be a clear finding of fact on both articles and a non-spinable vote taken. Democrat Senators must make it very clear about whether or not they are exonerating Clinton because he is not guilty of the charges, or he is guilty of the charges, but the particular Senator doesn't want him removed from office. Democrats must not be allowed to lie about their vote later! If Bill Clinton is allowed to remain in office for purely petty partisan political reasons, the DNC must be held historically ( and morally ) accountable!

After the Senate Democrats get through vomitting all over the Stars And Stripes and The Constitution, and kneeling in homage to their Grand Emperor Clinton, they will have some 'splaining to do for posterity! No matter what their twisted polls say and how they try to change the facts to fit their spin ( lies ), everyone will know exactly why they did what they did. Besides performing like a well trained dog and pony show for their holy master, Bill Clinton, they see the approval ratings low for Republicans in Congress and use exoneration for Clinton as a vehicle to reclaim a majority in Congress in 2000?

You know, I remember when the Democrats stood for personal liberties like privacy and civil rights. What about Billy Dale's right to privacy, huh? Ask Bill Clinton why he had his Whitehouse minions make Dale's private life fully public! How about Paula Jone's civil rights? Where the heck was the ACLU, this time? Hey man, I hated Nixon and Kissinger too! Where has my original Democratic Party gone to? Not a place I want to go to, that's for sure!
