What was missing at the GOP convention this week besides Alan Keyes? The answer is, OBJECTIVE REPORTING! A better question would be; DID ANYONE THINK THERE WOULD BE OBJECTIVE REPORTING OF A GOP EVENT FROM THE LIBERAL MEDIA PROPAGANDA MACHINE? I was at least hoping that C-Span would find a little of it's own lost objectivity...BUT NO, that didn't happen!
Instead of objectivity we were subjected to Democrat party inspired ramblings of the BEGALA-BROKAW-COLMES-DAVIS-MATTHEWS GORE GESTALT BEAST. The Democrat dominated ' news ' media, who voted for Bill Clinton in mass twice ( eight out of ten for sure ), vomitted all over a GOP trying to appeal to a wider scope of the voting public. Scared that their DNC meal tickets may be expiring, the media robots droned and drooled the National Socialist Wing ( NSDAP ) of the Democrat party's agenda and talking points like so many Sturmabteilung ( SA ) Brown Shirts getting drunk with power at the Hofbrauhaus beer hall in Munich in November 1919. Hopefully, these good little orders followers will not be allowed to putsch Al Gore into the White House, but flounder like the NSDAP in 1924!
The cable television channels covered the convention like a rug; or was it like they tried to sweep it under the rug?
From trying to trivialize the GOP by covering pundits speculating about who Gore may pick as his running mate and trying to stir up imaginary bitterness between George Bush and John McCain, the anchors and pundits alike tried in vain to deflect attention from a Republican party which is more united than I have ever seen it! Seemingly oblivious to the truth, these troops of tyranny, acting like the strangle-held radio station of some fledgling banana republic, repeated the Democrat National Committee's misleading and factually incorrect talking points over and over again even after being obviously shown to be in error?
The only pundit who showed some fire in the belly, was Oliver North; and only after some knee-jerker tried to compare his service in Vietnam with Al Gore's. North said something like, " I was shot at and held dying men in my arms while Al Gore was smoking marijuana in Saigon "?
C-Span was the coverage to watch, if you wanted a bit of objectivity and actual complete coverage, including the nobodys who really are sometimes the most amusing and inspiring individuals to watch. With C-Span, the most obvious difference is the call-ins between events; though these are dominated by legions of liberal democRATS who bombard both the liberal and conservative telephone lines with predigested left wing socialist bile. This convention the obviously liberal Democrat C-Span technical director just could not resist putting his two cents worth of political bias in during Governor George W. Bush's nomination acceptance speech. Somewhere between Bush saying, " We must usher in an era of responsibility ", and, " A President himself must be responsible ", the feed left Bush and went to a close-up of someone yawning. It was absolutely unbelievable and a low point in the history of the American media. It is just fitting that it was C-Span, which has become such a PROPAGANDA ORGAN FOR THE DNC which took such a cheap shot!
Shame on the pundits and shame on the media in general. I had better set up a television in the bathroom close to the toilet before the MEDIA DNC CONVENTION LOVE-FEST starts in Los Angeles!
