Pardon This!

Bill Clinton pardons filthy murdering Puerto Rican terrorists!

The talking heads and the White House keeping repeating the same half-truths over and over again in the hopes that the American public will swallow it, ' None of those offered clemency was directly responsible for deaths and they were required to renounce violence as a condition for receiving clemency '. This is typically misleading Clinton/DNC/Whitehouse spinmeister baloney. Do you know any criminal who wouldn't say that he wouldn't ever do it again, if it would get him the get-out-of-jail-free card? The FALN ( the Spanish initials for Armed Forces of National Liberation ) bombed over one hundred times in the United States between 1974 and 1983. These cowardly acts of terrorism killed six and wounded scores. The terrorists who were either convicted or plead guilty, were not convicted in any of the bombings but were found guilty of " seditious conspiracy " and " possession of weapons and explosives ". No matter what the mealie-mouthed liberal Clinton apologists say, the " seditious conspiracy " count refers to the illegal operations, such as planting bombs that killed completely innocent civilians in the United States, of the entire group! Secondly, the " possession of weapons and explosives ", were fully automatic machineguns and highly destructive home-made bombs! Do these sound more like murdering terrorist dogs or protesters carrying signs, in the name of freedom fighters, to you?

This whole affair was so obviously concocted to help Hillary Clinton's failing Senate campaign that Joe Lockhart at the White House press briefing had to do the Pinnochio routine with, " I think there have been many who have sought to inject politics, and many who have thought to inject a motive here, and all I can say is that they're wrong ".

The deeply depressed duo of Bill and Hillary could only think of one thing to do, before the terrorists started to whine for their release, and that was to play up a difference of opinion between the two of them. You know, kind of like the old good cop, bad cop thing; with Hillary taking the hard line against Bill's coddling of terrorists ( remember Bill bombing the innocent aspirin factory in Sudan and the recently vacated tents in Afganistan during the heighth of the Lewinsky scandal? ). Well, little did they know, about the time that twisted strategy was coming on line, a dozen or so of the pigs decided to squeal for a ticket home. This left the First Lady on the short end of the stick, but I bet she is quite used to being there, after all these years with Uncle Bill the philanderer. Tough luck for her, as Puerto Rican leaders welcomed the releases ( how can they look at themselves in the mirror in the morning with the blood of innocent American victims, indirectly or not, on the hands of those released ) but they remained angry about Hillary's flip-flopping fair weather stance. For instance, Representitive Jose Serrano, Democrat of New York and a native of Puerto Rico, called her campaign in New York, " insensitive ", and declared that he was not interested in endorsing her for Senator anymore, reportedly saying, " I'm still upset. I'm still hurt. I'm still angry and I've heard nothing to change my mind ".

Among those reportedly released were, Dylcia Pagan, Ricardo Jimenez, Elizam Escobar, Luis Rosa and Edwin Cortes. Cortes unapologetically and with absolutely no remorse for what his terrorist group did to innocent people in America, reportedly said, " I hope to follow the examples of Nelson Mandela, Gerry Adams and Yasser Arafat, who were also labeled as criminals and terrorists but in the minds of their people were patriots. Today, they are considered international statesmen ". Oh please, I think I have heard it all. Mandela may be in a class of his own, but Adams and Arafat are terrorists with blood directly on their own hands! For this criminal terrorist to paint himself with those three only proves he wasn't fit to release and has only renounced violence to gain that innocent American blood stained freedom!

The Congress could do little but stand back with their mouths open in awe, as Clinton can pardon whomever he wants; remember, he partially pardoned convicted drug dealer Dan Lassiter from Little Rock, Arkansas when he was governor. With the only show of solidarity they could muster, no matter that it was only symbolic, on Thursday, the House of Representitives condemned Clinton's offer of a grant of clemency on a 311-41 vote. This meant that quite a few Democrats joined with Republicans to show their disgust!

It is truely a sorry state of affairs, when an American President can play political football with convicted terrorists and the memory of innocent American citizens murdered!
