I was wondering why Arianna Huffington portrayed the then Speaker of The House of Representitives, Newt Gingrich, as a Bill Clinton look-a-like groupie in her book " Greetings From The Lincoln Bedroom ". Well, after recent revelations about Newt's conduct with a young female staffer ( atleast it was a woman...and hammer me for indirect gay bashing if you want to parse some vocabulary ) I have both contempt and disgust for the fat, toad-like one. Sheesh, what would a young lady see in that frog of a man anyhow? Oh, that's right; he wielded some heavy duty political power for some insignificant amount of time, that's it...
I remember Newt pushing through the fabulous Republican " Contract With America " after the 1994 landslide election for the Republicans, fueled by Hillary's failed crony-for-all socialized mediscare program was opened to the light of day and the people began to see the rampant corrupt nature of the new dysfunctional (ph)irst family and friends ( FOBs).
I remember Newt answering the youthful drug use question with a yes, instead of a lie about not inhaling. So much for Newt's honesty!
I remember Newt promising to keep the Clinton-Lewinsky impeachment crisis in the forefront and the ensuing silence. That should have been enough for anyone to know something was wrong. I was fooled like many of us were, temporarily; but now I say enough is enough. These recent unrebutted allegations of an affair with a Congressional employee, taking place partially within his official Congressional office space, is a chip off the old Bill Clinton block!
We are the better to be rid of Newt, though the liberals have their " Newt " ( Bill ) and they are not about to give him up no matter what he does, not lessening the grip on their precious first philanderer! I guess this proves that the DNC enablers have no integrity, besides having no shame or honesty left!
The Republicans, and conservatives in general, have mostly proven their integrity through resignation(s); something which has been finally shown to be absent in the DNC vocabulary. When can you last remember having three Speakers of The House in one year ( 1998 )? If this comment catches you unaware; do the names Gingrich, Livingston and Hastert ring a bell?
So, while the Democrats worship Larry Flynt character assassination campaign politics and embrace the depravity of moral relativism, with a little bit of good old 80s-90s style greed, the Republicans continue to show their collective moral mettle by pruning the tree of Washington D.C. of it's withering leaves!
See ya' Newt, and " good riddence " isn't strong enough language for the moment!
- Bongo ( Newt equals Bill? )
