Celebrating a little bit early are we? All you Clinton loving warmongers out there are going to have to wait atleast another day for me to eat crow; as the evil NATO Alliance decided, after hearing white feathered American hawks like Senator Joseph Biden ( D ) shoot his mouth off like a raving lunatic on television Sunday, to up the ante for a more complete surrender document. It is bad enough that the peace is not happening, and more innocent Serbian civilian women and children will certainly be paying for this delay with their lives at the hands of the cowardly genocidal NATO butcher bombers from the clouds, but the constant repetition of the Clinton/DNC/NATO/Whitehouse spinmeister line of lies by the American media is getting quite disturbing.
The media never told you how the Rambouillet " negotiations " ( like they were ever really that ) consisted of the Yugoslavian delegation waiting in another room for the NATO and Kosovo Liberation Army ( UCK ) negotiators to decide what to send to them to sign on the dotted line. The Serbian delegation couldn't sign an agreement that included the total occupation of the entire Yugoslav Federation by NATO forces. Yes, that is included in Appendix B of the document. I know you won't read or hear that on most english language media broadcasts of any kind. Additionally, the Serbs rejected the condition that the occupation of Kosovo would also be NATO authorized ( now that is a real joke ); while they favored, in their only official negotiation response, a United Nations force with NATO participation. You won't see that one anywhere else soon, either. With British General Michael Jackson ( minus his glove ) and American Major Trey " Camoflage " Cate, NATO spokesman, glibbly admitting, " The Yugoslav forces want a United Nations Security Council resolution before they leave ", Bill Clinton's puppet NATO alliance arrogantly does the Darth Vader diplomacy routine of changing the conditions at every whim.
They should really take away Jamie's viagra, as the ' Smugmaster of Ceremonies ' said, " So far President Milosevic has failed to keep his word ". Doesn't that a bit too sound familiar? Maybe we should subsitute ' Clinton ' for ' Milosevic '? Anyhow, Shea continued his propaganda lies in the best convincing Herr Goebbels style, pleading, " We weren't negotiating... those talks were about implimenting ". Okay, if they were just about implimentation, then why did the NATO delegation up the ante, and then pull out abruptly? Melissa Eddy of the Associated Press reported, " in Belgrade, Foreign Ministry spokesman Nebojsa Vujovic accused NATO of trying to scuttle the plan by adding new items ' of substance ', the private Beta news agency said. He was not specific, but contended that NATO was trying to ' prejudice ' the Security Council ". Shea polished up his Pinocchio act with, " He ( Milosevic ) is a master at unravelling in the details what he has agreed to ". Huh? I wonder which ' word parser deluxe ' taught him that? Or, is it just birds of a feather? Does the address 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue help you out? Anyhow, even Gepetto noticed Shea's nose was growing when he reverted to the months old Clinton/DNC/NATO/Whitehouse talking ponts fax memo spin-line/mantra of ethnic cleansing, as he spewed, " He wants to have a final go at ethnic cleansing, wiping out the KLA ". Come on man, I wasn't born yesterday. Shea finally whimpered that the breakdown was because Milosevic " failed to guarantee the safe return of the refugees ...and the withdrawal of all Yugoslav forces ". Sheesh, it just keeps getting piled higher and deeper by this administration's cronies.
While Greece refused permission today for more than two thousand American Marines to pass through its territory in route to Macedonia, because they feared an escalation of anti-NATO protests, White House marionette supreme , Geraldo Rivera joins with the KLA ( hmm, over a decade ago, didn't someone named Gerry Rivers really pack his nose with the white stuff that the KLA drug dealers specialize in? ). Sadly, the knee jerk liberal Clinton uber alles Rivera loves the KLA " freedom fighters " as much as he loved the Susan MacDougal as " Joan of Arc " routine.
Another liberal, Jesse Jackson, sees the KLA in a very different light. He said, " There's no guarantee about the behavior of the KLA ". He then rightly pointed out, " We've put all of our emphasis on the Milosevic part of it, but the KLA, which we were referring to as thugs two months ago, is now seen as freedom fighters encouraged to form a political organization? "
It is being reported further by the Associated Press, Robert H. Reid, that " the Russians were also objecting to an article in the resolution that would empower peacekeepers to take " robust " military measures to ensure peace ". His report continued, " Finnish President Martti Ahtisaari said today Milosevic assured him he still stands by the agreement. The meeting in Germany is to work on a resolution for the U.N. Security Council to authorize the peacekeeping force ". Reid finished the thought on the G8 discussions with, " Although Russian envoy Viktor Chernomyrdin played a key role in drafting the plan and selling it to Milosevic, Russian generals in his delegation spoke openly of their opposition to some of the terms, especially NATO's leading role in the peacekeeping force ". Melissa Eddy added, " Only the U.N. Security Council has the prerogative to decide these issues, " the ITAR-Tass news agency quoted Russian Foreign Minister Igor Ivanovhim as saying.
The only possible bright spot could be that Jesse Jackson is getting revved up to go to Belgrade once again. While I don't agree with Jackson on very many issues, he has worked wonders. He said, " This strategy about they will not help those people until Milosevic leaves, puts the people in double jeopardy...These civilians were bombed. Now they remain harmed until they remove Milosevic. That's double jeopardy ". Darn it Jesse, that is the lunacy of this evil Clinton administration and it's army of megalomaniacal one world government socialist spinmeisters!
Tim Hutchinson ( R ) asked this rhetorical question, " Does this set a precident for the kind of modulated force we are going to use in the future "? Gosh, I sure hope not!
