*' Beaten but Blessed', Tim Russert helped beat the Clinton/Whitehouse/NATO war drums on the Kosovo situation, but continued to push the Red Chinese espionage issue very hard. James Sasser, United States Ambassador to The People's Republic of China, was on the phone from Beijing describing the situation there, as rioters lay seige to the embassy grounds and they are virtual hostages. Sasser began, " It looks pretty ugly here...nobody has been injured so far...all the windows have been broken out ". In response to a question about there seeming to be a seige, there, Sasser replied, " Yes we are. There are literally tens of thousands out on the street ". Vladislav Jovanovic, Yugoslavian Ambassador to the United States was briefly interviewed and offered that Yugoslavia will " defend our country against the trrorist KLA ".
Then came three Senators, one retired and two current. Robert Dole ( R ) retired addressed the Red Chinese with, " Call off the troops. This is a controlled demonstration ". John McCain ( R ) joined in with, " We know the Chinese are good at this kind of thing ". Joseph Biden ( D ) could keep his vicious mouth shut and continued the heartless criticism of China with, " They know it was a mistake. What they are doing is not a mistake ". The triple treat of war hawks banged their war drums in unison. Biden declared, " We are the only three people here in Washington, that think we should go to Belgrade ". He continued to puff out his stuffed shirt with, we must have a " total victory " and " have a Japanese-German style occupation ". Dole then whined that when we " go into Kosovo...we are going to find thousands and thousands of mass graves ". What Dole didn't say, was that these graves will be from KLA terrorists killing Serbs and their own, and from innocent people killed by the NATO butcher-bombing. Biden obviously wants us to become the world's policeman, as he said, " We are the drivers, we are a European power ". Hey man, the last time I looked, this was North America? McCain finally showed his own war criminal-like genocidal colors with a non-Fruedian slip comment fir for the gutter, " OUR GOAL WAS TO RID KOSOVO OF SERBS ". Oh man, this is ethnic cleansing talk, pure and simple. Even Slobodan Milosevic hasn't talked in this vicious of a manner!
Finally Russert switched gears to a less Clinton crony flavor. Senators Richard Shelby ( R ) and Bob Kerrey ( D ) commented about the Red Chinese effort to acquire our sensitve nuclear weapons secrets. Shelby began, " The PRC, through various front companies, has sent money to a small bank in the United States. I have asked Senator Grams of the Banking Committee, to investigate this ". Kerrey was more interested in helping Clinton and the White House cover up the DNC's part in this scandal of epic proportions. He trivialized the extent of the damage done to our security with, " They have a greater ability to launch satelittes ". His nose began to visibly grow longer when he continued, " We found no evidence there was collusion to influence the political situation in America ". Astonishingly, he then said the Chinese gave money not to Democrats, but Republicans ". Huh? Pass the polygraph. Shelby countered with his opinion that the problem is still ongoing right now with, " Someone is still serving these interests ". He did add that, " we are talking about tomorrow's threat ". Kerrey had to keep up his disingenuous defense of the Clinton administration, saying, " We need to step back a bit ". He did finally admit, " I have no doubt there was Chinese espionage ". What the heck? He is talking out of both sides of his mouth, you just don't know when he is lying or telling the truth? Shelby finished with a warning, " This is the most egregious case of espionage in our history ".
Bill Richardson, Secretary of Energy, was on next to try to weasel out of his Clinton-created situation. On the Chinese espionage, he said, " We are moving to address the problem ". But, out of the other side of his mouth he said, " Lee has not been charged with espionage ", and there is " no evidence there was a penetration by the Chinese "? To make us feel safe, he assured Russert that, " I moved immediately...so that this would not happen again ". Didn't that announcement make you feel better? He continued, " I am going to announce new measures ". What new measures? Like raising the price of the top secret information, to the People's Liberation Army agents? Russert pressed him on when Clinton blatantly lied on March 19th about whether or not he was aware of espionage that occured while he was president, getting this Clinton-ordered lie in response, " The President was referring to that the person had not been charged ". Yup, this is the kind of bald faced lying conduct, the Clinton administration has lifted to the level of an art form. When Russert kept asking for clarification, all he got was, " The President has pushed for dramatic action ". Man, Richardson is a complete disgrace, this kind of lying and misleading is only fit for a kindergarten lunch room. With Richardson refusing to address the question that was actually asked, Russert continued to go after him for a straight answer on whether or not spying occured under the Clinton presidency. Richardson finally whimpered meekly and almost inaudibly that espionage had occured " during past and the current presidency ". Notice how he couldn't admit the espionage, unless he was allowed to say the proverbial " everybody does it ", innocence by association with the guilty, Clinton-speak spinmeister line. Russert was so surprised that he finally got a Democrat to admit that spying went on while their precious living God, Pharoah Bill Clinton was in charge, that he made sure by asking it again. Richardson this time just mumbled, " yes ". This has got to be the dirtiest White House in the history of the United States. You Democrats who elected this sociopath should feel very proud!
Russert caved in to political correctness once again, as he helped keep the gun control lobby's talk in the forefront with a panel including: 1) Wayne LaPierre of the National Rifle Association ( you know, I liked these guys better when they stuck to shooting matches and gun safety ), " If you live alone, they want to hold you responsible if someone breaks into your home and steals your gun ". LaPierre thought you could trace the current problem with gun-related crime as a " complete and total collapse of prosecutions ". He is quite correct about that. 2) Gary Bauer, " eighteen gun laws were violated that day in Littleton ". He also said of the recent debate on violence in television and motion pictures, " There is a whole group in Hollywood laughing all the way to the back ". You know, I wouldn't doubt it. and 3) Jack ' I didn't say that ' Valenti, who wanted to " do an indepth analysis about violence ". He must have talked to Bill Clinton right before he came on. I almost wanted to throw up when Valenti said he was going to support Gary Bauer for Prsident. I mean this guy just lies with impunity, as we all know he has no intention of campaigning for Gary Bauer. I was slightly impressed, though I knew he was just lying through his teeth again, when Valenti said the youth of today seem to be " missing a moral code ". Maybe he should go ask the Power Rangers to help solve a problem without using physical violence!
*This week, ' These Weak ' was truely weak, or fairly worthless. Cokie Roberts was in tornado ravaged Oklahoma. Sadly, ABC thought this disaster needed even more tear-jerking coverage. Even more sad, was that ABC accomodated Bill Clinton with a Mother's Day puff piece featuring a capitulated Roberts blindly offering up softballs to the morally bankrupt chief executive, eager to feel everybody's pain.
Thomas Pickering, Under Secretary of State ( and hopefully soon to replace the genocidal war criminal Madeleine Albright, though he is a Clinton yes-man, pure and simple ) was asked about the ' accidental ' bombing of the Chinese embassy in Belgrade. He replied, " We have sent them our apology ". He tried to shift the blame from NATO's calculated attacks on purely civilian targets with, " The issue of ethnic cleansing has brought us to this bombing campaign ". He continued to grovel, " We will continue to do everything we can to prevent accidents ". He seemed rather heartless to me, when he crooned, " Only two dozen bombs have gone astray ". Is this his way of saying, ' nobody's perfect '? He proved his Clinton/DNC/NATO/Whitehouse obedience training was nearly complete, when he answered a question about the real causes of the displacement of refugees with, " You see it all the time on television ".
General Wesley Clark, Supreme Commander of NATO, was also NATO's supreme rationalizer as well. He continued the obvious Clinton administration ordered campaign to downplay their killing of innocent civilians ( naturally ). " The target was mistakenly identified. We looked at the process ", said Clark, and, " NATO does not target innocent civilians ". I think the intentional bombing of the Belgrade television studio just about proves he is blatantly lying through his teeth on this occasion. Clark then committed a rather shocking Freudian slip, with, " When we target, have an accident with civilians, we regret it ". Well this takes the cake; Clark should be indicted by the Hague as a war criminal. He continued with the foot in mouth routine and sang NATO's praises with, " We dropped nine thousand pieces of ordnance and only had eight or ten accidents ". What is it, eight or ten? Does he want to wait to see who noticed each new NATO aerial atrocity, before admitting or announcing any? He then went into the broken record Clinton/DNC/NATO/Whitehouse spin lines from the last six weeks ( these soldiers seem to think they can use the old lines over and over again forever ). Clark puffed out his ' I have never, ever been in any form of combat ' warrior chest and continued that NATO is setting up an " enforcable naval blockade in the Adriatic ". When asked about targetting Milosevic himself, he replied, " We are going for high level command and control ". He proudly announced, " The air campaign is working...we're winning, that is why he ( Milosevic ) is trying to seek an agreement ". Yeah, right, sure man; what a wonderful example of U.S. Army leadership Clark is, the best General's stars Arkansas money can buy!
Li Zhaoxing, Chinese Ambassador to the United States, got to offer some payback to the people who have accused China of spying on us. Zhaoxing was angered that he was only asked about the U.S. embassy in Beijing, and replied with a question of his own, " Why didn't you ask me about the dead and wounded people in Belgrade first "? He did answer, " Chinese people are working to protect your embassy ". He obviously heard the interview with Clark as Zhaoxing commented, " He ( Clark ) tried to whitewash the mistake by mentioning the other country's leader ". I think that was my feeling about Clark, also. He went on, " This is no ordinary incident, it is a horrifying atrocity. You cannot explain this, I am afraid ". See, anyone can try to inflame opinion by using terms like " horrifying atrocity ". He hit the nail right on the head, with, " They talk in Geneva about human rights, but in Belgrade you bomb civilians ". This commie rat is dead right this time! On the many allegations of Red Chinese espionage, he thought that in the Clinton White House " there must be an alterior motive ". Lastly, and from my point of view correctly, he loudly accused, " The US-led NATO has violated the United Nations charter ".
*Not being able to face his reflection in the mirror, Bob Schieffer felt like he had to really ' Deface The Nation ' this Sunday. He had James Sasser from Beijing. Sasser said, " They have broken all the windows and we took a molotov cocktail through a window just a moment ago ". He was genuinely accusatory with, " There is some evidence the government ( Chinese ) may be running this ". He then had two Senators on the program to celebrate the continuing victory over tiny Yugoslavia by Clinton's criminal NATO alliance. Joseph Lieberman ( D ) was good little Clinton/DNC/NATO/Whitehouse robot. When he was asked about the Chinese embassy situation, his answer was horrifying, " My reaction is anger ". What a horrible monster this democRAT is! This guy is a pimple on the anus of America. Sam Brownback ( R ) was no better, saying, " There is exploitation of the situation by China ". This was a disgrace. Neither of these heartless legislators expressed anything about the innocent Chinese men and women killed by the Clinton/NATO butchers. Shieffer should be ashamed at himself, for this blatant White House propaganda show he put on this weekend.
This Sunday was truely a stinking pile of propaganda!
