I believe the answer is yes. He is doing deep cover damage control and spreading propaganda!

Lets look at the observable facts that lead me to this conclusion.

Morris was fired ( supposedly ) by Clinton after Dick was caught on tape with a prostitute. He then begins to go on talking head shows, spreading some innocuous little bits of information ( misinformation? ) to give the impression that he has actually jumped ship. He even mildly criticizes Willie, to make it more believable ( though they probably talked it over and decided what would not really be damaging ). He then begins to spread disinformation, that they think will be beneficial to swaying public opinion ( this goes hand in hand, with the fictional high polling numbers being thrown in our faces ).

More proof of Morris still being an agent of the vast left-wing liberal democrat cover-up conspiracy, is his involvement with the Monica Lewinsky denial production of January 1998. He admitted on television, that he had 5 conversations with Clinton before they released the " wag the finger and lie to the people " piece. Morris said that he ran the concept by people to get their reactions, for Clinton, prior to it's release. Though Dick was not on the official payroll any longer, is there no doubt that this was " work " for Willie? Is it too much of a stretch, to think that the following months of appearences by Morris were not planned by the Whitehouse?

The final proof is Dick's characterization of Slick Willie's non-apology attack speech, after his mock appearance before the Grand Jury. Dick originally said Clinton hit a home run and did a wonderful job of taking responsibility for his transgressions. Within a few minutes, and after judging the reactions of others to Clinton's attack-denial tape, Morris did an about face on his opinion. This sure looks like someone trying to play both ends against the middle, to keep his " believability " intact.
