Michael Jordan Free Throws or Bill Bradley Foul Shots?

Senate superstar Bill Bradley enlists the help of NBA superstar Michael Jordan.

National Basketball Association icon Michael Jordan has joined the Bradley campaign for the Democrat Party candidacy for President of the United States. Jordan, the multiple MVP ( most valuable player ) and allstar, is perhaps the most recognizable human being in America. Not only being a sports figure and idol to many, Jordan is surely regarded as an outsider to Washington D.C. and politics in general. In fact, I heard a Chicago reporter had found out he registered to vote for the first time just last October!

I have seen one campaign spot starring Jordan and it was straight to the point; a slam-dunk, if you will. Anyone who has seen his advertisements for sporting goods and long distance services on television, realizes that he is quite the professional and comes off with great sincerity. The content of the ad I saw touched upon all three of Bradley's major campaign issues: health care, education and gun control ( though gun control is not specifically mentioned, but inferred with " no family suffers the tragedy of gun violence " ).

Dollar Bill has finally realized that he must fight fire with fire in his contest with the ' win at all costs ' VPOTUS ( Vice President of the United States ). Taking off the proverbial boxing gloves, Bradley has finally begun to answer Gore's negative attack ads with gusto ( not lies ). Gore, who's misleading campaign of lies ala' Slick Willie is finally being exposed as the spinmeister meat it really is, may be way out of his league with the addition of Micheal Jordan on Bill Bradley's bench.

With the addition of Jordan on his team, Bradley seems to have picked up the pace. Bradley was ' Factored ' in yesterday on the Faux News Channel and he was full of vigor, being ready to defend himself with a good offense.

Bradley declared, " A party should be more than a fund raising vehicle and an employment bureau ", but put forth, " grand ideals ". I may not agree with Bradley on most points, or any of his ideals actually, including his three main campaign issues, but I do agree with him on that point.

Bradley continued, " You're gonna' need a new kind of politics in Washington...if we don't clean our own house, the Republicans are going to clean it for us in November ". You can't argue with this one. Just imagine the GOP campaign ads showing Al baby at the Buddhist Temple of Greed and the dialing for dollars from the White House news conference, where he said, " no controling legal authority " way too many times. Remember that old Allied proganda film from World War II that cut together Adolf Hitler taking one step over and over again making it look like he was doing a jig, before the French surrender ceremony outside Paris? The Gore version of ' lie, deny and stick to it ' from that news conference will be a genuine riot.

Bradley finished with, " We don't need the old politics of a thousand promises to a thousand special interest groups ". Amen to that!

Bradley wouldn't put Jordan on the ticket, would he?
