I used to think Al Gore was a boyscout or just a boring semi-honest politician. After a few initial campaign-like appearences by Gore this week, I now fully grasp his ability to lie blatantly threw his teeth with that stupid smile on his face. Like some pityful elementary school teacher, his condescending attitude and slow montone delivery of strings of short syllable words, puts him right on the wavelength of the increasingly intellectually challenged American public!
Today ( Saturday the 20th of March 1999 ) Al Gore continued to work on polishing his campaign speaking ( lying ) in preparation for the upcoming year 2000 presidential run. The event was a Democratic National Committee Meeting at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Washington D.C. and the audience was willing to swallow whatever was offered with no questions asked! Gore better realize that it will not matter how sweet his reptillian smile is, the average American non-partisan group will never stomach the kind of swill he vomitted at this particular DNC event.
After blaming the Republicans all week for everything from urban traffic to global warming, he continued today to take credit for everything from the Internet to the balanced budget, all the while gawking and smirking for the audience and/or television cameras!
The new Pinnochio, Al Gore, described the Republicans and their policies with the blatant lies and inuendo that only goes over well in a room full of ultra-left wing liberal Democrats ( oh, but it was a room full of those guys? ). Gore told the most ridiculous line of lies about the current majority in the Congress, using the most sharply negative of terms to characterize them. I certainly hope he never pleads innocent concerning negative campaigning or vicious partisan rancor, because he used every pointed word he could think of in an amateurish attempt to ' Clintonize ' the purely partisan Democrat audience. He must now realize that he just can't lie with the likes of his master, Bill Clinton, and get away with it! Oh well Al, maybe you will have to try the truth? I know, it's way too novel of a concept for your liberal Democrat noodle to comprehend!
Gore said he wants " to hook every classroom up to the information super highway ". Wait just a dog-gone minute here Al, are you trying to make up for the gaff earlier this week, when you declared you invented the Internet, by referring to it as that? In any event, he must have a deal going with Larry Flynt, to run a website? He continued a line of lies about the Republicans taking away money from the education of the nation's children. Sorry Al, only Clinton can get away with telling this lie while keeping a straight face!
" I fought hard for the V-chip ", Gore gleefully declared. Wait a second Al, are you now the king of censorship, as well as computers?
Otherwhere this week, Al said some other pretty stupid things to say as well, like, " The Republican budget is extremely risky. It pours hundreds of billions of dollars into open ended tax schemes ". Whoa Al, it is the Democrats who embrace costly social programs and entitlements, not the Republicans ( they want less taxes and less government ). From the EPA ( Environmental Protection Agency ) to the NEA ( National Endowment for the Arts ), it is the DNC folks, who want more government, ala' " tax and spend "; not the Republicans. The Republicans stand for lower spending and lower taxes, and they always will. It is the Democrats who want more central government control over our lives, as in socialism, not the Republicans, silly!
When are these thankless Democrats going to get their hands out of our pockets and their voices away from trying to control us and our families? Have all Democrats surrendered to the socialist left ( dark side ) of their party? It sure is beginning to look that way; especially when the ultra-rich Hollywood Democrats are getting fat and happy over ' wagging the dog ' media events, choreographed like song and dance routines!
No matter how hard he tries and how much he lies, Al Gore is just no Bill Clinton ( or Hillary Rodham for that matter )!
