Gored by Bush, or Bushed by Gore?

The real campaign for the office of President of the United States in the year 2000 finally begins.

Yesterday March 14th, in the southern states Super Tuesday primary elections, both Democrat Vice President Al Gore and Republican Texas Governor George W. Bush clinched the nomination for their respective party's choice for the presidency of the United States of America in the upcoming November election. Was there ever any doubt that the contest would be between these two? There may have been a small doubt as to who the GOP candidate was going to be, with a strong and dirty challenge to Bush being waged by Senator John McCain, but the Democrat non-contest was a contrived fiction, featuring the retired and possibly physically unfit ( ongoing heart problems ) Senator Bill Bradley. The DNC just couldn't stop itself from doing the old " wag the dog " routine yet one more time, in concocting a completely bogus faux primary contest, so that the GOP wouldn't get all the media hype and coverage associated with an actual campaign. Even the knee jerk, bleeding heart liberal news media establishment would have found it extremely tough to work the Democrat Royal Court coronation ceremony into their nightly " NEWS " broadcasts.

Now all that is left is for the extreme left wing liberal news media to pump up their candidate, the VPOTUS, and whine about how much legal money Bush has raised versus the illegal campaign contributions Gore has gotten!

For me, the choice this November will be between two negatives, as I am not exactly in love with either one of these so-called candidates. I believe Bush lacks experience and what extra experience Al Gore has is all bad.

George Bush is involved with the same traditional conservative Republican network which brought you presidents such as Ronald Reagan and George Bush senior. Have no doubt about it, Bush may say he is a reformer or in touch with the latino voters in Texas, but he is an establishment Republican all the way. So, if you voted for the likes of Reagan or Bush in the past ( or went down the old smokestack Kamikaze style voting for Ross Perot, indirectly giving us eight years of corruption at the White House, in the Clinton/Gore administration ), you will have an easy choice in punching the hole or pulling the lever for the GOP's self proclaimed, " compassionate conservative ". At least, we know Bush is not in bed with the socialists and organized crime ridden labor unions, and that he will treat the Oval Office at 1600 Pennsylvannia Avenue with the respect which has been absent during the Clinton/Gore/DNC White House Motel Six, rent out the Lincoln Bedroom, dialing for dollars from federal property, no holds barred democRAT version of " GREED "!

Al Gore is a typical tax and spend liberal, who never met a new tax or government entitlement he didn't like. If you believe that the DNC appointed bureaucrats in Washington D.C. know what is best for you and your family in cosmopolitan or rural America, then the choice in November will be as easy for you as following some lemmings off a cliff.

Some problems with The VPOTUS you ' DNC love it or leave it types ' may wish to think about before you let your knee do the voting for you come November may include:

1) Gore, the supposedly hip environmentalist, wrote a book on global warming a couple of decades back which predicted that we would be under water by now? Ooops, pass the snorkel.

2) Gore saw no problem with holding a fund raising event in a Buddhist Temple and excepting 10K donations from straw donor nuns? Tell this to long time Gore fundraiser deluxe Maria Hsia's probation officer!

3) Gore dialed for campaign hard money dollars from his office in the White House complex, because there was, " no controlling legal authority "? See number 2) above.

4) Gore proclaimed that he would appoint military people to the Joint Chiefs of staff on the basis of their agreement with him on political topics such as gays serving openly in the miltary, instead of their military experience or qualifications ( I think they should put condom dispensers in all M1 tanks, okay? ).

5) Al declared that Bill Clinton was one of the greatest presidents in history at the demoRAT's post impeachment party in the Rose Garden of the White House. This one is reason enough not to vote for him, as it proves beyond a shadow of a doubt how beholding he is to the same big money interests, both foreign and domestic, which have gotten our beloved country into the immoral and indecent mess we are in today!

I think my choice is finally becoming more clear; not that there ever was a chance I would have voted for the likes of Gore, though I have punched the " D " hole before!
