Going anti-missile ballistic?

July 8, 2000 the Pentagon held a press briefing on a failed anti-ballistic missile system test the day before.

The liberal democRAT Quislings inhabiting the Clinton White House and the halls of Congress must be smiling widely, as the most recent test in our nation's quest for a defensive missile shield failed miserably. These liberal lunatics have coddled the Russians and the COMMIE RATS in the People's Republic of ( RED ) China since they realized what a convenient campaign cash cow gravy train the corrupt officials there could be, if they played their ' quid pro quo ' cards correctly. Ignoring the national security of our blessed United States of America, the forces of the left have systematically stripped our military of an unbelievable number of troops, weapons and vehicles, including reducing the number of Army divisions, Air Force squadrons and Navy carrier groups. Some of these BLIND MICE LEGISLATORS were so ignorant of the weapons systems they hold the purse strings on as to suggest that we could replace individual aircraft carriers with Aegis class cruisers ( simply not understanding the difference between an aircraft carrier which projects offensive force via it's compliment of airplanes and an aerial defense ship designed to protect a fleet from attack? ). These ostrichlike haters of the military, except as a vehicle to help their campaign to force the twisted moral values of homosexuality on an unagreeable public, have done everything they can to stop the developement and implimentation of Ronald Reagan's dream of a defensive umbrella to protect America from at least a limited ballistic missile attack. These modern day Benedict Arnolds have gone so far as to lie about: 1) the threat to us from Russia ( contrary to what the Liar-in-chief has had to say on numerous occasions, the Russians still have their ICBMs pointed at us ); 2) the feasibility of developing and fielding such a missile shield ( the Israelis successfully tested and are beginning to field a theater area type missile shield of their own right now ); and 3) the further compliance with the ABM ( Anti Ballistic Missile ) treaty we signed thirty years ago with the now defunction and non-existant CCCP ( USSR )! Now, seeing their Red Chinese and Russian cash cows getting dirtied by scandals such as illegal campaign contributions and organized crime intercepting IMF ( International Monetary Fund ) currency targetted to help their failing economy, the BLEEDING HEARTS have begun a campaign in earnest to defeat the implimentation of an ABM shield for America, which angers their SUGAR DADDY-LIKE MASTERS IN BEIJING AND MOSCOW, arguing that it is not feasible and/or it costs too much? I would argue; how can you put a price on our nation's survival?

At the Pentagon press briefing, it's favorite Pinnochio, Ken Bacon was absolutely beaming on the inside as he introduced Lieutenant General Ronald Kadish, United States Air Force Ballistic Missile Defense Organization Director, to presumably make some shallow excuses why the latest test of an anti-missile missile was quite unsuccessful. What actually transpired was reminiscent of the old ' who's on first ' routine with Kadish as Abbot and Jack Gansler, Undersecretary of Defense for acquisition technology and logistics, as Costello ( or was it more like Laurel and Hardy trying to move that piano? )!

Kadish's overall performance was actually a little bit better than my preceptions of it at the beginning. There was no way around using words like, " didn't intercept ", and " uninflated decoy ", as he described a test which failed in just about every category imaginable from the supposed target drone to the intercepting vehicle itself. The short of it is that the target drone failed to deploy some of the decoys ( wouldn't that have been convenient had the interception come off as planned? ) and the interceptor failed to separate from the booster. Kadish seemed to see it a bright spot that the missile didn't fail to intercept, but the temporary booster malfunctioned, having to admit, " the kill vehicle failed to separate from the booster stage...we did not have any activity in the intercept phase ". He seemed happy to pawn the whole thing off on the temporary existing booster being used in this developemental time, with, " The booster is not the one that would be used in the production model ". The reporters pressed him for a more detailed explaination, getting, " It ( the kill stage? ) was looking for a second stage separation single ". Kadish was hammered by the ( left wing ) press about how bad this failure looked and the political ramifications of continued funding of an unpopular ( to them, maybe ) project, but he failed to take the bait or accidentally stiffened up his spine a bit, replying, " What it tells me is that we have more engineering work to do ".

Gansler, sensing that Kadish's knee pads were getting a bit worn and the assembled press personnel were not getting the servicing they were used to; jumped up, took over and interjected, " Don't focus on the booster ". He continued to capitulate, with, " We normally have developement problems ". Okay, so that sounds like the standard line, huh? Well, he then showed his true politicized military spinmeister damage control stripes with, " The Secretary and the President are going to be examining a number of things ".

WAG...WAG...WAG...WAG...WAG

Oh man, I bet C-Span didn't know what they were getting when they had videotape from July 2nd of physicist Lowel Wood on, directly after the Pentagon news conference. Lowel Wood is one of those few scientists who are not spilling over with political correctness; actually he is a Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory staff physicist. Wood did a presentation of a number of ABM systems, including threat predictions of possible future enemies and weapons delivery types. The most interesting thing about the presentation was his way of debunking all the lies coming from the White House, concerning who's missiles are pointing at whom, and who stold what technology from what laboratory, for what nuclear weapon system and why. He blamed our lack of a current missile shield squarely on our current administration ( and the inhabitant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue ).

I suppose we should be feeling glad that this test failed in the booster stage, as that doesn't give the DOVES any extra ammunition in their attempt to kill our missile shield before it is in place. The temporary boosters being used were manufactured a while ago and they are quite generic; maybe this should also be of concern? I hope we can perfect the science needed for a missile shield covering the continental United States before we need to use it or the one world goverment socialists in America surrender us to the United Nations!
