With impeachment proceedings nearing in the House, Republicans must utilize the upmost cander in their examination of the information in regards to the possible impeachment of Bill Clinton. If the public is allowed to be swayed by the appearance of Republican partisanship, it could ultimately hurt them as a party. We know it is a certainty, that a group of partisan Democrats will try to stir up partisan bickering. REPUBLICANS MUST RESIST TEMPTATION!
Republicans must remain civil, even in the face of clown-like actions by such court jesters as Barney Frank.
The House Republicans may want to look at the model of Senator Orrin Hatch, who gave the President every benefit of the doubt ( okay, so he did finally start to blow his stack, but for very good reasons ). I know that the Senate has historically been a much more civil body ( the Founding Fathers knew this ), but there is no reason why House Republicans can't try to emulate their counterparts in the Senate.
The Bob Barrs of the House, must not lose their cool, though I can identify with his(their) disgust at the endless spin from the Democratic apologists. The American public may not be as stupid as some Democrats believe, and will see the cooperation ( or lack of ) exhibited by individual representitives, of both sides of the aisle.
The Henry Hydes of the House, must remain in control, even in the face of partisan smear attacks on his(their) past or current integrity. The public understands the difference between conduct before you are in office and conduct while in office.
If any other Republicans, beside Helen Chenoweth and Dan Burton, have skeletons in their closets, now is the time to let them out ( before open proceedings begin ). Some Democrats will stop at nothing in an attempt to save their morally bankrupt President.
