While the extreme left wing broadcast television media and NPR ( National Propaganda Radio - so easy to find; just look for the parking lot full of new and used Volvos - all paid for with your taxpayer dollars! ) continue to herald Al Gore like he is the second coming; objective people, with at least half of their witts still intact, are finally starting to see the VPOTUS for what he really is, A SERIAL LIAR WITH DELUSIONS OF GRANDEUR. The epitomy of the Clinton cronie yes-men just doesn't seem to think before he speaks ( other than to take a quick poll to see where he is supposed to stand for the greatest political benefit to him, his precious first philanderer and his morally bankrupt democRAT party ) and he obviously has never met a convenient lie that he couldn't embrace with all his being ( or at least spit out of his mouth before thinking about the consequences )?
The three most popular so-called Algor claims to fame are 1) He said the movie ' Love Story ' was about him; 2) He discovered the ' Love Canal ' environmental debacle; and 3) He invented the internet. I can't say anything about the validity of the ' Love Story ' allegation but I did see the news conference where he claimed almost total responsibility for bringing the ' Love Canal 'story to the attention of the public ( a complete fabrication ).
The newest instance of Gore's vivid imagination, or debunking of same, was exposed by Neil Cavuto of FOX News yesterday June 14, 2000. I believe this concoction, flip-flop or lie could be put to good use by the GOP if they decide to go negative in their campaign to bring integrity and responsibility back to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue this November.
Cavuto was interviewing Gore and simply asked him to explain the missing subpoenaed White House VPOTUS e-mails, circa' the 1996 election cycle. Gore began by acting like only a few days of e-mails were missing and in question, but Cavuto pressed him on the issue. The VPOTUS became flustered at being exposed in his amateur spinmeister routine, of acting like nothing was wrong. Gore finally whimpered that he knew nothing about computers ( I was reminded of Sargent Schultz from Hogan's Heroes! ) and the e-mail system in general, insisting, " I am not a computer expert "? Huh? One doesn't need to be an expert to know when he is witholding possibly incriminating evidence!
Well, which is it Al? We all heard you say that you, " took the initiative creating the internet ", but now you claim that you are, " not a computer expert "? Okay, so maybe you don't have to be, " a computer expert ", to, " take the initiative in creating the internet "?
I could just imagine the alternating video clips of, " I took the initiative creating the internet ", and, " I am not a computer expert "!
