Here it is December 18, 2000 and Governor George W. Bush of Texas was awarded the 271 electoral votes needed to finally be the certain President-elect of the United States of America. Bush is also on the cover of Time magazine, being the Time Person ( Man ) of The Year. Hopefully President Bush will be a concilliator and find enough votes from both parties to pass meaningful legislation in Washington.
Now that I have gotten that out of the way...
The ( conceted? ) Ass showed his Heinie and the electors were not at the Rat's Beck-n-call.
Like Bill Clinton dropping his pants, Al Gore dropped the election day ( month? ) ball.
The GOP found some backbone, seemingly lost two years ago last fall;
the Florida harvest was stopped and George W. Bush is the president of us one and us all!
I thought it was great that no Bush electors were swayed but a Gore elector chose to abstain from voting; I believe to protest the under representation of Washington D.C.? I wonder what Larry Klayman will find as Judicial Watch begins it's own recount of Broward County votes today?
