With the Kosovo peace agreement signed on June 9th, and an end in sight to the Clinton/Gore War; Serbian troops in Kosovo province have eleven days to go back where they came from. I will not be eating any substantial crow casserole or roast raven, until the 20th rolls around and the NATO plan of ethnic cleansing against the Serbs in Kosovo is in full swing, without any hitches.
While Undersecretary of Defense, Walt Slocombe and General Joseph Ralston, Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, were playing the media equivalent of Laurel and Hardy to the assembled press, after William " Mister Sardonicus " Cohen prepped the audience; it was announced that British Lieutenant General Michael Jackson will get to play army, as commander of the NATO sterilization ( occupation ) force, designated " K4 ", for " Kosovo Force ". Don't you just love the simplistic way these military ' minds ' come up with the nick-names? Slocombe began the march of ' Catch-22s ' read to the Serbs like the riot act with a statement that the Serbs must clear the mines in Kosovo. It seems to me that could be a bit tough, as in the previous sentence he said all Serbs must leave Kosovo province? The other ' Darth Vader ' condition of note that he mentioned, was the definition of " FRY ( Federal Republic of Yugoslavia ) forces ". Evidently, just what constitutes " FRY ", will be up to the ever popular Michael Jackson, as NATO K4 commander. This means that any Serb individual at all, can be retroactively expulsed from Kosovo, just by the action of the K4 NATO commander. Ralston got into the act with, " Until we verify withdrawal, we will remain ready ". He then explained the three designated areas within Kosovo and how they were incorporated into the phased withdrawal of Serb troops in eleven days.
On June 10th, as NATO stopped the bombing and the United Nations Security Council voted a resolution on the peace-keeping mission in Kosovo, Shen Guofang, Deputy Chinese Ambassador to the U.N., said the NATO actions are " weakening the role of the United Nations and leaving the world with no peace ". The Security Council approved the Kosovo peace plan; China abstained.
Senator James Inhoff ( R ) said, on June 9th, " I am glad it's over; if it's over ".
I'll see you back here in ten days, to see what really transpires.
