As a non-NRA ( National Rifle Association ) member, I am still appalled at the way the National Socialist Wing of the Democrat party is attacking the Second Amendment rights of the people of the United States of America. These contemptible knee jerk liberals seem more at home using the Constitution as toilet paper, than as our beloved country's owner's manual. The Clinton dictatorship enabling DNC membership, serving in our so-called government, is trying to legislate away the only thing between us and their Nazi Germany-like iron fist of hedonism, corruption and dumbing down theory of social relativism; OUR FIREARMS.
First, the second amendment was put in to protect us from the tyranny of our own precious central government through a strongly armed populace, not as a roadmap for the nation's military or to provide for hunting regulations. Our Founding Fathers foresaw the day when our own federal government would begin to resemble the one they fled from in Great Britain and they wanted to sow the seeds of our self defense. That time is now near!
Second, Bill Clinton attempted to villify the NRA and to use the death of a six year old child at the hands of another six year old, using his crack dealing father's stolen handgun in a despicable manner, declaring that the gun lobby " had blood on it's hands ". Take a look at how fast the First Philander left the country, like he always does when there is a problem and he doesn't have any place to bomb, when the NRA truthfully pointed out that in fact Clinton himself had the blood on his own hands, for his administration's lack of prosecuting the hundreds of thousands of felons he claimed the legislation he has sponsored has blocked from illegally purchasing guns!
Third, this failure of the Clinton Justice Department to prosecute firearms violators, while touting itself as holier than thou in coming up with the solution to every problem in America, obviously has contributed to leaving great numbers of violent gun using criminals on our streets. The numbers are not defendible, as the White House claims hundreds of thousands have been blocked over the years, but they can only point to dozens of prosecutions?
Fourth, the extreme left wing media has blood soaked ( not just stained ) hands, in continuing to further both the tyranny of the Clinton dictatorship and it's assault on the United States Constitution, while not reporting the wholesale lack of prosecutions and down right silliness of some of the proposed new wave of useless gun laws, which only criminalize law abiding gun owners instead of punishing felons ( mandating trigger locks and limiting magazine size, for instance ). Leaving a firearm unloaded or installing a trigger lock, have been strategies for years, for the man ( or woman ) who has minor children or un-gun safety educated adults in close proximity. Tim Russert had Wayne LaPierre of the NRA on " Meet The Press " for a return visit, after LaPierre correctly pointed to the color of the blood on the President's hands the week before. It was quite disgraceful, the way Russert showed his Clinton/DNC/Gore/Whitehouse chokechain marks on his neck, by sitting, staying and coming for his vile Democrat masters. Russert barely let LaPierre get a word in edgewise, assumably because LaPierre is standing on the high ground and telling the truth, while Russert was down in the gutter like the true BOTTOM FEEDER he is. Not to be out done, Sam Donaldson had Charleton Heston on " This Week ", in a crude attempt to smear the law abiding gun owners of America. Heston triumphed easily over Donaldson; as Charleton was calm, as he coolly articulated the Second Amendment rights guaranteed in the Constitution and why they were originally written in there!
Fifth, just a few decades ago gun laws were quite a bit more open and lax, but the numbers of gun crimes were a fraction of what they are now. I contend that something has gone morally wrong with our country, and it is not some fictitious personification of the gun as being responsible for any killing it may do. The inanimate object is not responsible for the crime, as the automobile was not responsible for what the drunk driver did with it while behind the wheel. The decades of control over Congress by the forces of liberalism has taken it's toll, as they attempted to legislate down the social mores of the American people ( aren't you glad minor children can now sue their parents and the federal government can confiscate your land for killing some federally protected fruit fly? )!
The Nazis from the beer halls of Germany in the 1930s would have been proud at the the progress of the current NSDAP-DNC Sturmabteilung in taking these first steps in disarming the people of America. The left wing liberal sheep, from the American version of Hitler's Schutzstaffel, seem to get great entertainment value from villifying the law abiding citizens of America, who's only crime may be gun ownership without that of a trigger lock or a magazine for a firearm with a greater than ten shot capacity, in the same manner as the Nationalsocialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei demonized the Jews!
The survival of our country and way of life is on the line and each and every one of us must make it quite clear to our elected officials that we will not stand for this grab at the brightest shining symbol of our freedom, the FIREARM!
