Mark my words, the Democrats will concoct a bunch of lies ( not spin, but direct lies ) in an attempt to further discredit the Independant Counsel Kenneth Starr, concerning Sam Dash's decision to step down as the Office of Independant Counsel ethics advisor. Dash's innocent action, will be twisted and used for fodder, in an unethical attack on Starr ( who has shown his ethics to be beyond reproach )!

Whitehouse/DNC legislators and media talking heads will lie through their teeth, and say that Dash resigned because of repeated ethics violations by Starr. In reality, there was only one reason why Dash resigned; because Starr appeared in front of the House Judiciary Committee!

Here is the appropriate portion of the text in the Dash letter of resignation:

" I resign for a fundamental reason. Against my strong advice, you decided to depart from your usual professional decision-making by accepting the invitation of the House Judiciary Committee to appear before the committee and serve as an aggressive advocate for the proposition that the evidence in your referral demonstrates that the president committed impeachable offenses. "

I appreciate that Dash didn't agree with Starr appearing at the hearings, and that the appearence hurt the view of Starr's impartiality. Starr obviously felt that the entire House process was being corrupted by the lies being put forward by the partisan Democrats and justice would be best served, by him accepting the invitation to testify. Imagine what the Whitehouse/DNC spinmeisters ( liars ) would have said, had Starr declined to appear?

Dash made it very clear, that he was not resigning because of ethics violations in the OIC investigation. He also hinted that these Democrat allegations of prosecutorial misconduct by Starr are fictitious:

" My decision to leave has nothing whatsoever to do with the many unfounded and misinformed attacks on your conduct as independent counsel. "

He actually supported the actions and integrity of the OIC with:

" From my special vantage point, as an experienced professional outsider with no personal or professional stake in the outcome of your investigations, I found that you conducted yourself with integrity and professionalism as did your staff of experienced federal prosecutors. "

When some slimey, far left-wing, knee jerk, bleeding heart, liberal Democratic conspiracy lunatic ( like Geraldo Rivera ) tries to lie about the reason for Dash's resignation and/or the professionalism of the OIC; point out the actual text and the truth in Sam Dash's letter!
