With a proposition ( 5 ) expanding Indian gaming through out California about to pass, at the hands of apathetic voters, Democrats have found a new bastion of campaign donations. It is reported, that since 1994, California Indian tribes have given over $1,500,000 to Democrat coffers ( and latest election cycle totals are not it, yet ). Indians have been giving at an average of four to one, to Democrats, with some races even more incredibly one sided ( $300,000 to Democrat Gray Davis and $1,000 to Republican Dan Lungren, in the gubernatorial race ).

The last proposition like this to pass in California, created the lottery system. It was promised that the money would go to the schools. Well, that didn't happen! The big question is, just who is getting those lottery millions? The bureaucrats? Organized crime? If the schools are getting anything, it's not much; just take a look at them and listen to the moaning for more money!

Barbara Boxer and Gray Davis will probably beat their Republican opposite numbers, through lying negative campaign ads, and the apathetic nature of the out of touch immoral California voters. Only in California, could two far left wing special interest group liberals like these two, be elected. The real problem with a Gray Davis victory in California, is that he could gerrymander the Congressional districts, to increase the number of possible seats for Democrats in the House of Representitives, in the next election cycle!

Bob Dornan is trying to re-capture the seat he lost in the last election. He claimed that wide spread voter fraud contributed to the loss, and it was proven to have been present, but not to enough to warrant another election. I believe that the Democrats have engaged in massive voter registration fraud, especially in the hispanic communities of Southern California. Clinton's ' motor voter ' registration system, allows people to both register and vote, without showing any form of identification. 60 Minutes even ran a segment on this, yesterday, showing just how ludicrous the situation is. The horrible truth is that it would be impossible to weed out all of the illegal voter registrants, who have joined the ranks of Democrat voters, even if ' motor voter ' was repealed!

The other outrageous proposition on the ballot in California, is Proposition 10. Hollywood bigwig Rob Reiner has crafted an obvious special interest group driven tax on cigarettes, under the guise of an anti-smoking campaign. In fact, only a miniscule percentage of this proposed 50 cent a pack tax would go to smoking related programs ( and this percentage has a dollar amount cap ). If any of the California voters actually read the bill, they will see that it creates a series of commissions to decide what ultra liberal organizations get the ill-gotten booty from the new tax ( from entertainment industry grants to wacko environmentalist programs ). How did the rich fat cat Hollywood types get this on the ballot? Like these guys need the extra money, anyhow! Were charitable contributions down, to their petty liberal pet projects?
