In 1992, a lying Clinton pledged to break the hold lobbyists and big money had on Washington D.C. during campaign speeches. He also lied through his teeth when he declared that if elected, his administration would be the most ethical in history? Like some vile, evil cross between Pinnochio and Pee Wee Herman ( no offense meant to Pee Wee ), the current inhabitant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue has lied and exposed himself into the history books. Now the first philanderer wants to maximize how much more dirty money he can raise before he leaves office, and to make sure the mechanism remains in place for Al Gore and the DNC to continue the exponentially accelerating business of seperating us from our cash, by any means imaginable!

At the Intercontinental Hotel in New York City, former Senate majority leader turned investigator George Mitchell begins the announcement of widespread bribery in influencing the International Olympic Committee to bring the Olympics to Salt Lake City. This is a shocking but understandable event, as Bill Clinton has brought the small state/town politics of bribery, corruption and cronyism into the mainstream! Mitchell tried to blame this scandal of gifts for awarding the games to a particular city, solely on the IOC ( though James Carville called and offered to blame it all on the OIC for him ). This problem is so widespread, that we just can't blame it on someone else. Mitchell had a lot of practice blaming others for everything under the sun, while a Democrat Senator and especially as majority leader ( oh, those rascally Republicans ).

Amazingly, 60 Minutes aired a story last night on the question of lobbyists. Lobbyists are sort of like legal bribers, offering money and gifts for consideration of their agency's interest by some individual politician hungry for campaign cash. CBS actually played the excerpt of then Governor Bill Clinton promising to end the strangle hold that lobbyists had on Washington D.C. ( and his reference to the Bush Whitehouse as condoning and encouraging it ). If you can believe CBS and the lobbyists they interviewed, Clinton has exploded and not retarded the lobbying business. Once again, a blatant direct falsehood told by our precious liar-in-chief is brought to the light of day for us all to see!

CBS documented that since Clinton took office, the number of registered paid lobbyists in Washington D.C. has risen from 7,500 individuals in 1992 to over 15,000 individuals, currently. Hey man, that's double in only six years ( quick work? ). I thought Clinton told us he was going to reduce this lobbying? Oh, that was before they started to lobby his own administration with big bucks. So much for trusting the words of this President on absolutely anything he says. Has he made good on any of his campaign promises? Oh well, getting back to the lobbyists, this number is only the officially documented list of paid lobbyists; I wonder how many more there really are lurking about in the shadows of the Whitehouse?

A lobbyist interviewed by CBS last night also declared that since Clinton marched into Washington D.C. in January 1993 ( I have this vision of the war of 1812 ), the total amount of money spent by lobbyists has increased by a multiple of over 100 times! Well, what did you expect from a President who rents out the Whitehouse like a motel ( Lincoln Bedroom ) and Airforce One like a taxi ( seats on trade missions )? The sick part about this, is that it is all somewhat legal, though some people may believe it is quite unethical!

It sure looks like Bill and Al Gore Clinton brought that 80s era of greed, along with their liberal tax and spend Democrat era of big ( gigantic ) government, with them to the Whitehouse. Our only remaining question left to answer is: HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO REMOVE THE CLINTON STENCH FROM 1600 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE? This may be complicated or delayed, pending the outcome of the year 2000 presidential election!
