As Republicans continue to take the moral highground, the Democrats step up diversionary attacks on Starr and Republicans, with Newt Gingrich as the new target.

" Serpent Head " Carville began his Sunday morning talk show whining, with a declaration of both victory and war ( this guy really must have a twisted sense of immorality ). Somehow, he rationalizes the accusations of cover-up ( perjury and suborning perjury ) as a victory for Clinton because they are based on a sexual matter? Clinton's cover-up was to avoid responsibility in a sexual harassment lawsuit, so naturally the basis has to do with sexual matters. With no real defense for the President's actions of cover-up and the underlining state sponsored sexual escapades, he declares another smoke screen war on Newt Gingrich. Funny, Newt has been incredibly fair in not characterizing the Clinton affair; but he is an easy target for the disingenuous defenders of indecency. I think Carville should go crawl back under whatever rock he came out from underneath of!

Dianne Feinstein showed herself to be the evil bag of wind, that she really is, by blowing ( not the President ) in Clinton's defense. Remember, she did do the same misleading thing with her vote on the balanced budget amendment. Does she really think that California voters can be that easily duped, by her obvious flip-flops? Her comments are beginning to smell like an off shore breaze from Fisherman's Wharf!

While Asa Hutchinson speaks objectively about letting the Constitutional process of impeachment inquiry run it's course, Marty Meehan changes the subject to Newt Gingrich. Why can't Democrats ever address the subject, or take responsibility for their actions?

While Lindsey Graham remains fixated in keeping the process fair, John Kerry and Robert Torricelli ( who says the President feels a new confidence? ) attack Newt Gingrich ( an easy punching bag ) and the Republicans!

Abbe Lowell, billed as chief investigative counsel for the minority of the House Judicary Committee, gives us a preview of his actual, " Chief House Judiciary Committee Bill Clinton Defense Lawyer " strategy, by attacking the House Republicans!

All the above Democrats continue to attempt to wag the polls, by chorusing the President's 60 percent approval rating. What they don't tell you, is that this number is based on adults; not voters, or even US citizens! When you get to likely voters, the numbers are closer to 50-50; and if you factor in other relevant issues ( like if Clinton lied before the Grand Jury ), the numbers become highly against Clinton.

Howard Baker said it best, " cover-ups never work ".
