I was a liberal know it all during the turbulent 60s and early 70s, but I finally grew up and realized that I and my other, live for today as tomorrow we may die, left wing buddies were an abherration and not the majority ( or even a plurality or the mainstream ). Our whacked out, sex, drugs and rock and roll, fast cars and fast women, attitudes were part of the problem and not the solution. I have watched the extreme druggies die off from physical illnesses associated with hard narcotics use ( luckily I was smart enough to avoid that ) and suicides from imagined psychological pressures, as well as the sexual deviants who preferred their sex partners with the genitalia type they themselves came equipped with by Mother Nature, die from AIDS, as their, lick, suck and/or fill every available hole attitudes led them to vie for the honor of who could have kinky unprotected sex with the most individuals in the least amount of of time, finally paid off. What goes around, comes around!
Not being satisfied with killing themselves off at a rate greater than the national average, a large portion of this morally bankrupt group has finally made it's way into the hierarchy of the entertainment industry. This immoral minority has decided that it's unholy civil disobedience must be flaunted in the face of an unwelcoming society and their impressionable youth!
An entertainment industry where right and wrong and good and evil used to be plainly spelled out in it's programming, has been replaced with socialism, moral relativism, an unhealthy dose of hedonism, and sexual promiscuity. The " bad guys " are no longer criminals, but the " evil " has been transferred to the members of the police and our own government? Rules are no longer to be followed, but to be broken at will, in the name of a feel-good, sea of " good " intentions triumphing over law and order or common sense. In the past, I was truely speechless to see Hanoi Jane Fonda sitting in a North Vietnamese anti-aircraft gun emplacement like some modern day Benedict Arnold ( this may have contributed to the beginning of me finally coming to my senses ). Now, she and her avowed socialist husband, Ted Turner, are planting the seeds of communism and socialism using propaganda-like programming techniques, with a compliant left-wing liberal media's blessing!
As proof of my point, I challenge you to watch a single night of network television programming. Forget daytime television; where dysfunctional families and individuals are paraded across the screen on talk shows as though they were normal, when in fact they are the dregs of society! In that night you will see extreme minority political and sexual views being portrayed as though they were mainstream, seeemingly validated by the actors and writers in such dispicable pieces of network trash as Friends or The West Wing, with a portion of seconds to villify our military on JAG. Minority sexual depravity, guaranteed to get you a reservation six feet under, is treated as comedy with the punch line, " If God had meant women to have sex with men, he would have given them a penis "? I was so shocked that I wanted to vomit!
One thing is for sure; I won't be purchasing any of the products advertised during these shows!
