As the Clinton administration is barraged by incompetence charges in the Red Chinese espionage accusations leveled at the Department of Energy FOBs and the old worn campaign finance abuse allegations of rampant quid pro quos are making a comeback; the ever popular Clinton/DNC/Whitehouse spinmeisters have resurrected the old standby smokescreen defense of the Monica Lewinsky affair once again, for damage control and revengeful purposes.
The Maryland authorities had all but dropped the ridiculous case of wiretapping against Linda Tripp, but after getting around fifty local Democrats to pressure the government, a Grand Jury was convened and guided ultimately to indictments. This may seem more like payback for a whistle blower, Linda Tripp, telling the truth about a philandering chief executive, than an innocent prosecution, but it does serve to take away the attention that the whistle blowers from the nation's nuclear laboratories should be getting. The rabid left wing news media will be filling the screens with visions of Linda Tripp getting what's coming to her, instead of the images of Bill and Hillary slithering out from under any responsibility for their actions!
Is Al Gore ever going to be held responsible for the Budhist temple fiasco or dialing for dollars from the White House? I bet not before Linda Tripp is dragged in to the gutter.
The Democrats are just proving their collective lack of morality and responsibility. I can only hope that guys like Larry Klayman and Linda Tripp's lawyers make good use of their time as defense counsels, and educate the public on the depths that the great living God Pharoah Bill Clinton will go to satisfy his lust for revenge on Linda Tripp and his obsession to leave a positive legacy for himself in the history books.
