With Madeleine Albright acting like the new Mother Teresa, she leads the NATO nations, like so many sheep, in paying tribute to the greatest and most God-like ethnic group on the face of the planet, the Kosovar Albanians. I say that if they were so wonderful, worthy of our national worship and possible sacrifice of American blood in combat, supporting their jurassic pseudo-invasion of Kosovo to create a Greater Albania, in Benito Mussolini's image; then why did they need our help, like simple street urchins begging for a scrap of bread or the chance to dig in your garbage cans?
I mean, man, look at the fascists from Italy in World War II. They loved the Albanians so much, that they got their best buddies, Nazi Germany's notorious Schutzstaffel, to help them subdue Yugoslavia. They were delighted to offer the Albanians the province of Kosovo to be their " Greater Albania ", if they would join the Croats in helping the Nazi hordes exterminate all that wasn't fascist or National Socialist in the Balkans during World War II. The Albanians and Croats joined the SS in uniform and policy, the Nazis in one case being quite impressed with the efficiency and ruthlessness of a Croatian run death camp in the Balkans, which eliminated over one million Gypsies, Jews and Serbs!
Things didn't go exactly how they had planned, as the Allies won World War II and not the Axis, whom the Albanians embraced as friends and mentors. The communists in post-war Yugoslavia allowed the Albanians who had murdered the Serb population of Kosovo, through a years long campaign of organized genocide, to remain in Kosovo to live. The dirty deeds of the Albanians had finally managed to kill enough of the Serb people who lived in Kosovo, that the Albanians had roughly equal numbers with the previous Serb majority.
Through out the intervening decades, the violent criminal Albanians, including a Muslim element who provided a large percentage of the hard drugs consumed by Western Europe by smuggling, continued their campaign of ethnic cleansing against the Serbs in Kosovo by systematically murdering the civilian population who lived there. In the late eighties and finally in Bosnia; the Albanians, Croats and some Muslims in general got their chance to whittle down the Serb majority in Kosovo until it was under twenty percent, though many other ethnic groups, making up smaller percentages, added to the total non-Albanian population living there ( Gypsies, Turks, etc ). With the break up of the CCCP, Yugoslavia did suffer turmoil which indirectly aided the cause of the ethnic Albanians, by helping a despot like Slobodan Milosevic rise to power, with his obvious heavy handed tactics playing to the perceived image of the Serbs and their leader as the monsters, instead of the agressive nationalistic Albanians.
Well, here comes 1999 and the President of the United States was looking for an easy image builder and payback for a Secretary of State who lied for her fearless leader repeatedly on national television during the Monica Lewinsky impeachment crisis. Yes, it seemed like Bill Clinton had watched the movie " Wag The Dog " too many times and either wanted to use the Albanians like Robert DeNiro did, or make up for their use by DeNiro by helping their holy cause? Either way, the White House got it's desired diversion from the espionage or collusion of it's departments with the communist government of the People's Republic of China, Bill Clinton got his legacy building excercise and the Kosovar Albanians got their fifty year long vision of a " Greater Albania " to become a true reality!
It is now becoming blatantly clear that NATO has been mesmerized by the Albanians or the White House spinmeisters. Somehow, these NATO allies have gotten amnesia and forgotten how the Albanians got themselves into the position they are in, through real ethnic hatred and organized violence against innocent unarmed Serb civilians. The notion that the Albanians are retaliating against the Serbs for atrocities doesn't pass the sniff test, if put in the total context of the strife in the region as a whole.
Ponder me this, who did you indentify more with; the tractor driving dirt farmers, the camoflaged KLA ( UCK ) terrorist guerillas, or the rock and rollers standing on the bridges in downtown Belgrade wearing targets on their chests? If you ansered, the dirt farmers, you should move to Kosovo immediately. If you answered the KLA terrorists, you should log on to OSSAMABINLADEN.COM or go to Arkansas and look for Mena Airport on a moonless night. If you answered the rock and rollers on the bridge, there may be some hope for you yet and you should attempt to help others understand the true situation in Yugoslavia and what NATO ( look man, it really was mostly us ) did to their sovereign country, in the name of helping the Albanian separatists rip Kosovo province from Yugoslavia proper!
Over the weekend, it was being reported that ethnic Albanians stopped Russian peacekeepers, working with NATO, from entering the southern Kosovo town of Orahovac by blocking the roads with vehicles and threatening the Russians. " We shall find a way to fulfill our task; we shall methodically and calmly occupy our positions ", said Colonel General Georgy Shpak to ITAR-Tass news agency. Obviously the Dutch and German troops in the area about forty miles from Pristina could care less about disciplining their Albanian friends and/or protecting the now Serbian minority. The presence of Russian troops in Kosovo is the only chance for a temporary peace, though incredibly miniscule it may be, as it was also reported this weekend that Dutch peacekeepers began seizing hundreds of firearms from Orahovac's two thousand remaining Serbs. The Serbs actually turned many of these weapons in, but they seemed fearful of what the future may hold for their minority in Kosovo.
Monday, the Albanians in Orahovac were still doing the kind of thing that got Serb civilians bombed back to the stone-age, resisting a perceived enemy. It was reported that the ethnic Albanians said that the Russians will only " destabilize the situation "? Oh, I guess they mean the Russians would stop them from continuing their campaign of ethnic cleansing and genocide against the Serbs in Kosovo! And then the Dutch and Germans begin a house to house search for weapons not turned in by the Serbs over the weekend, instead of searching the homes of the Albanians, who are the ones creating the current confrontation?
The most sad thing is that the international media still keeps referring to any alleged Serb attack on an Albanian as ethnic cleansing or genocide, but Albanians killing innocent unarmed Serb women and children are taking revenge or engaging in reprisal attacks?
