Surprizing many people with his choice, and pandering to the Jewish American voters, Vice President Al Gore picked the first Jew, Joseph Lieberman in history to appear on a ticket for the top two spots in the Executive Branch. Some poeple may applaud this choice and others question Gore's judgement, but one who will not complain is Hillary Clinton.
Bill Clinton has been openly dancing with the Palestinian devil and terrorist leader with much Israeli blood on his hands, Yasser Arafat. Hillary Clinton unexplicably hugged and kissed the terrorist leader's wife? My Jewish friends say they are both anti-Isreal. Maybe; just maybe, Gore has seen his un-electability ( sic ) reach epic proportions and he has been ordered by Master Bill to deliver New York to Hillary by picking a Jewish running mate.
My Jewish friends instantly said, " tactical " and/or " pandering ", when I quizzed them today. Whatever the reasoning, this should be enough to deliver New York state to the carpet-bagging candidate for Senator, Mrs. Clinton ( get ready for the wholesale jokes, New York; as you will truely deserve it, if she is elected ) and maybe even Gore to the White House ( or the nomination of Hillary in 2004? ).
Some folks may say that this is Gore trying to distance himself from Bill Clinton by picking a running mate who was openly critical of the President, while he ( Gore ) was calling him, " one of the greatest presidents in history ", at the White House Rose Garden ( Clinton Throws Impeachment Party? ( 12-21-98 ) ) party. Don't be fooled by this smoke and mirrors. Gore is still doing Bubba's bidding and Lieberman has a history of talking tough ( out of one side of his mouth ) and then voting the party line ( out of the other )!
One thing is for sure, Lieberman is much more centrist than the extreme left wing environmentalist Al Gore. Unless Lieberman has changed his views over night ( not unknown in Democrat pollaganda circles ), he differs with Gore on quite a few issues; as in, school vouchers and reducing the capital gains tax penalty, for instance. These are both issues embraced by Governor George W. Bush.
Jim Nicholson, chairman of the Republican party, called them, " the odd couple ", because of the number of differences they have on the issues.
The liberal media just loves Gore's choice of Lieberman and they will not stop pointing out his hard line on Bill Clinton's immoral conduct in the Monica Lewinsky scandal. I personally feel offended and must point out that with all Lieberman's criticism ( phoney or otherwise ) he ultimately voted to keep the First Philanderer in power!
I won't believe it until I see them live on the stage in Los Angeles together.
